So this we be where to let us know of new releases in the fantasy UF PNR genre and how you are looking forward to them. If they are major releases, I'll add them to the lists. This is not a place for authors to promote their own work, this is for readers who are familiar with an author and are looking forward to a release of a favorite.

For example, some new releases by well known authors this month, Sept 2017
The Brightest Fell (October Daye, #11) by Seanan McGuire Immortally Yours (Argeneau #26) by Lynsay Sands White Trash Zombie Unchained (White Trash Zombie, #6) by Diana Rowland Sleep Like a Baby (Aurora Teagarden, #10) by Charlaine Harris Archangel's Viper (Guild Hunter, #10) by Nalini Singh Volatile Bonds (Prospero's War, #4) by Jaye Wells Blood Vengeance (Bewitching Bedlam) by Yasmine Galenorn Tiger Tails (Bewitching Bedlam) by Yasmine Galenorn

I'll try to keep a month ahead but you can post what you are looking forward to most and when.

This month is full of new releases from my favorite authors. Nalini Singh is tops though Guild is not my favorite of the two series I read. I will definitely read it in the next weeks. I've already read White Trash Zombie Unchained and loved it. I really hope it is not the last of the series.

These are my most anticipated coming up books
March 6th
Lake Silence (The Others, #6) by Anne Bishop Burn Bright (Alpha & Omega, #5) by Patricia Briggs
April 3rd
Scourged (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #9) by Kevin Hearne not as excited as I once was, they've gone down in quality humor in my opinion. Then again it might just be re-reading is no good on these as they drag on reread. Still I'll probably run to it.
December 5th
Flame in the Dark (Soulwood, #3) by Faith Hunter Love this even though I don't love Yellowrock, Dark Queen comes out May 1st.
May 8th
Magic Triumphs (Kate Daniels, #10) by Ilona Andrews I think this is supposed to be the last. :-(

Me too. I miss the Pride and Magnus pack series. I read one of the crow series but it just didn't click. I will try the next but... I want some Honey Badgers. I thought the one in Pride with the Honey Badger was great.

@Adele- Yes read Soulwood! It is different than Yellowrock but I think it is great.

Princess under cover (princessuc) | 4 comments I'm looking forward to Dark Longing. She's a new author, totally should check her out.

I haven't had to be excited about any new books. I see a bunch of potential awesomeness though! I cannot wait to finish school so I can get back into my reading.

I was not excited about reading while I was in school. In fact, I think school ruined my reading for years afterwards too. Still if I were in the same genre, I might have come back sooner to it.

I just started Incryptid by Seanan McGuire, starting with
Discount Armageddon and now I'm excited about the whole series. Really glad the next, Tricks for Free (InCryptid, #7) by Seanan McGuire , comes out March 6th as it gives me perfect timing to catch up.

message 15: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie | 22 comments Really excited for Farah Cook's City of Assassin's (book 3) to come out in April. I just got three other books I have been waiting for; Revelation by Rye Brewer (book 5), Salvation by Rye Brewer (book 6)and Ravaged by Brenda K Davies (book 7). :)

Just found out that Alexis Morgan decided to write another Paladin's books.
In Darkness Transformed (Paladins of Darkness, #10) by Alexis Morgan June 5th, 2018 release date.
The last full novel was 2011 and last novella 2015. I really enjoyed this UFR as it is not the normal shifter/vamp world but opening and breaches from other realities into our own during seismic activity. Certain men have a talent/ability and pull to fight the creatures coming through the breaches.

Kate Daniels has been delayed to August.

OK, Hot and Badgered (The Honey Badgers, #1) by Shelly Laurenston is out and is has been getting good reviews from my Goodreads friends. It is an offshoot of Pride and Mangus Pack so might want to read one of those first just to get the idea of the world.

Magic Triumphs (Kate Daniels, #10) by Ilona Andrews
!!!!!!

I really like Hugh's book but it just wasn't Kate and Curran and now this is their last book (at least as the plan) yet the world continues.

Atone in Darkness (The Paladin Strike Team #2) by Alexis Morgan came out earlier this month, I read it too. Have to say that the continuation of the series is not quite as good as the original. I was so psyched but both dragged a bit too much for me.

Jennifer Estep, darn auto correct. Yep, a number of people have run to it. I fell off her Elemental Assassins series as I thought it a bit repetitive. Maybe this would be different. I thought about a few of them but not enough to get them or even look at the library yet.

message 31: by Adele, Moderator (new)

Adele (mooturtil) | 1749 comments Mod
Omg I didn't realize it auto corrected!!!! Yes I did stray away from the elemental series as well. I tried to get back into it but my mental health took a turn and I just hadn't been back! I will have a good look at the new book next month when I'm financially better off to buy books.

OK, only 8 days until
Archangel's Prophecy (Guild Hunter, #11) by Nalini Singh
I probably would not push myself as it is a 2ndary series for me by a favorite author (psy-changelings) but it looks like it will be at least a buddy read in some of my groups and I would rather read it together.

Then for the rest of the year... Well there are only 2 new released that I'm looking forward to. It seems like the releases are slim picking at the end of the year. Last year we had a Soulwood.
