Yes, I agree with Priya. You're going to have a great time reading Series 3, 4, and 5.
Guilty Pleasure Reads wrote: "I couldn't help myself and started one of the series already! I'm the worst"I did the same thing! I've read the full length books of Eloisa James's Fairy Tales series, and now I'm leaving the novellas to read for next year.
I’m glad I found this thread only recently. But I am still eager to get started. I will do my best to hold off until January 1st!

Ok, so I am ready to set this up. Not sure what "posting a tracker" means so I will list my series and books, but do I need to make a shelf? Many will be a re-read in the beginning of the series. Most I never reviewed/commented on, so will do that this time.

Yea! Good choices.
So is that all I have to do, Joanna? Do I create a shelf? Have I posted a tracker now? I am hoping Priya will advise if I need to do more- It took long enough to add all those titles😳
Ursula wrote: "So is that all I have to do, Joanna? Do I create a shelf? Have I posted a tracker now? I am hoping Priya will advise if I need to do more- It took long enough to add all those titles😳"Yes Ursula, the thread with your booklist is your tracker. You can edit / update it as the challenge progresses.
You only need to create a shelf if the mods put a widget on the group homepage. A widget collates everyone's progress as a group using their nominated shelf as a guide.

As Loriidae mentioned, you can create a shelf when the widget appears on the homepage ( On 1st of January).
I will edit the participants' list to include your tracker, tomorrow. In future, if you find it difficult to find your tracker in the sea of posts, you simply need to click on your name in the participants list.

Hello! how do buddy reads work exactly?
Guilty Pleasure Reads wrote: How do Buddy reads work exactly?.."If someone likes to have company to read a book, they post it on the general BR thread. They start a separate BR thread for the said book and read and discuss the book.
In our case if we happen to read a series at the same time, we can have a BR thread and read together. Did you plan when to read these series?
I already have a reading plan. If you are interested, let me know.
Should we post here if we are looking for a buddy for this series challenge or on the general BR thread?

In 2016 I began my reread of Stephanie Laurens (now 26 books) Cynsters Series on audio. I only listened to a couple this year and am currently rereading #12. I will reread to at least 20 which is where I stopped before. Still not sure about continuing on to the last six new generation books. That's a year long plan. For January I am going to make a push to read at least one Jennifer McQuiston in either her second sons or seduction diaries series.

Thanks, Priya! I wish January would get here already. LOL A Kiss At Midnight will be a re read. I read it years ago but don’t remember it. According to my rating, though, I enjoyed it! The rest of the series will be new to me.

One thing you can do is choose series that you are up to date on but have releases scheduled for next year. For example, Meredith Duran's Rules for the Reckless series.
