Option 3: Ashes Ashes - Read a fiction book in which a plague or disease plays a significant role in the story.
Inferno read 10/31, I listened to the audio version, the MMPB version Inferno is 611 pages long, claiming 1 BB ticket
How it fits: In this story, Robert Langdon is tracking down a plague created by a genome scientist. This scientist creates a disease that attacks the humane genome with a DNA altering vector disease. This genome vector alters the fertility of human beings by making 1/3 of them infertile. The disease is released into the water (and then into the atmosphere) a week before Robert finds it, thus infecting the entire world population. In this world, everyone is infected with this DNA altering disease - it doesn't make anyone sick or kill anyone, but the disease affects the entire world.
