I'll check out those shelves for the FS soon.

This is a tricky shelf XD Might need to try and find Hopeless somewhere. I love Hoover's books <3 Read them all.

I will read

One whole person on page 4 of it's shelves. But it's there! The other book I wanted to read only had Kindle Freebies. Ugh. Technicalities. :-D

Kindle Freebie

I almost picked that one Louise, hope its good!

If you didn't want to read the 1st 15 books, you could start at this one as she gives lots of info without it being dumped on you. But you'd be missing out on 15 really good books.

It must be hard to write that book, knowing it's both a follow-on and a new start.

Nalini Singh has treated us to a fantastic ride inside the Moscow StoneWater Bear Den with Alpha Valentin Nikolaev leading the charge, as a gentleman bear whilst being as sneaky as a cat.
The reason for the sneakiness is Silver 'F*cking' Mercant, the woman he wants to mate, the Director of EmNet, a Psy still in Silence, Kaleb's Senior Aide, his Starlight and a fascinating mix of fire and ice. And a woman who gets because .... bears.
The banter between the two is hilarious, and is a definite highlight. I also loved the insight we get into the Mercant clan, with the Alpha, Grandmother Ena a force to be reckoned with & Silver's brother Arwen who is an E. It is Arwen who has tempered the Mercant clan simply by his presence within the family. Family is everything to the Mercants, just as it is to StoneWater.
Alongside this intriguing match are assassination attempts, the Consortium, and small splinter groups of pro humans, cute baby bears, chaos as disasters happen all over the world, failing Silence, naked skin privileges, surgery, bear parties & a bear with a heart as big as the world.
This spinoff about the Trinity Accord is written in the style of the first books of the series, but we now have a better understanding of Changeling craziness & Psy silence, so is a much richer, more romantic, action packed story.

Review:
Zach is one of the original dragons from back in the day. He and others like him, the Gem Dragons, were put in cryovac until they could be awakened and prove they could protect humanity.
Zach has never cared for humans, but then he sees Erin.
I found it meh. Not horrible, but nothing amazing. I didn't feel his angst about being in a world that he was no longer a part of and the romance was quick. It's a great book for when you want something quick and easy to read between big books though and I'm sure I will read the rest in the series.

Task: From the second shelf option

Review: I made it. I truly did this time. Right to the end. I am so proud of myself XD I can't believe it! After re-reading the first book like 9 times, and the second a few less than 9, I finally trudged through and here I am. No more books to go. Not sure how it feels XD Relief, I think? This was definitely a weird book, a whole lot less exciting as the others, but definitely weird. A lot more twists too, I think, what with (view spoiler) So yeah, quite a lot of surprises, but I think it ended well :)["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Which shelf do you want to read this one for?

And cross-posting? What's that?
