I didn't know they could do that, but looking at the amazon website, looks like it does happen a bit too frequently for comfort. Oh well, at least its working for now.

I have to keep reminding myself that the characters are in highschool. I get so annoyed with the drama. What do I hate more than love triangles (squares)? Teenage love triangles! Ugh But looking past all that, it wasn't bad. There was a couple twists I didn't see coming which keeps me interested in seeing what happens in the next book.

I was shocked & kept trying to fix it, till I reasoned there would be a troubleshooting file at Amazon, and there was. It was easy to fix thank goodness.

Shelf: 2nd, 3rd or 4th Book in a Series
Date: 25/8/17

Ivy & Rafe are now an item, this being the 3rd book.
Rafe was not impressed with his Boss almost getting Ivy killed in the previous book so he quit The Order. Unfortunately, almost being killed by a necromancer has left Ivy with some after effects ... she sees cursed dead people. Especially dead witches.
That is how they find out about a serial killer who targets witches. He's a Null, so magic doesn't affect him, which is hard for most witches to comprehend. Once again Ivy is the brains who figures out where to find the killer, despite her laziness and Rafe is the logical one who deals with the authorities.
Lots of narrow escapes, hidden rooms, bad cat Brutus, a plethora of cursed ghosts, bruises & crematoria.
Always enjoy Helen's stories.

You now have an updated BINGO card with a stamp on '2nd, 3rd or 4th'.

Good Job!! :D

Correct Maddison, and I'll update your change in a moment :)

Yay Sunshine!!
I've started my Debut Author book, its a bit hard going cause the heroine is an anti-heroine. Half demon who eats souls. I'm yet to come across anything funny, which this book is supposed to be. We'll see......

I'm really, really happy about that Maddison and glad for you too :D

I just know that the next Throne of Glass book will be put on that shelf when it comes out, and that's less than a week away :D

And if no one does then you've wasted a week Maddison. I'd pick another book, you'll no doubt be able to use Tower for another shelf shortly.

Yeah, I'm reading Sweet Evil right before I read Tower though. So even if I waited it would still be out when I get to it haha. If not, I'll pick something else :) I'm starting Sweet Evil (debut-author) tomorrow.

I'll let you know if I end up starting something else.

Review:
We met Niniane (Tricks) and Tiago in the first book. Tricks is a Dark Fae and the last surviving heir to the throne. Tiago is a Thunderbird. At the end of the first book, she is leaving NY and the Wyr compound to go take her place at court. This book picks right up from there and as she is being escorted by "family" she survives an assassination attempt. Tiago, already feeling things for her but not yet realizing it, rushes off to protect her.
I found Tricks to be more of a damsel in distress than the strong, funny, girl's girl she was in the first novel. I got so tired of reading how small she was and how large he was. I get it. You're idea of a sexy woman is 5', 80 lbs, perfect body, big boobs. A sexy man is 6+', 250 lbs of super solid muscle, 8 pack abs, overly protective. I just picture them next to each other and it looks ridicules. But that's just me.
I did enjoy the story though. We get a look at the Fae and Vampire politics and you can't help but root for their relationship through all the boulders in their way. I look forward to Rune's story next.

Sunshine, I found the series interesting but most of them didn't live up to the promise of the first book. Maybe I'm being unrealistic to expect them too, because I really, really loved that first one.

I did change my Debut book to
