I read Revived, on 9/12 which I think works for all three words.
Travis quit MMA fighting when his girlfriend died a few years back. Julia gives him the encouragement he needs to get back in the ring, and this is a turning point in the story. A fighting exhibition is enacted and Travis has to emulate the other skilled fighters.
All three words. Way to go, Kari!

Thanks Lanelle! I think "sick" might be the better option. Does it need to be someone that's physically sick or could it be someone that's mentally sick? It doesn't really specify, what do you think?

I finished my book for longing - an eager desire. I've been wanting to read Thrice Burned, but haven't been able to fit it into any challenges I was working on.

# 7, 14 and 23
#7 hearth - a fireplace or fireside
#14 heavier - more weight
#23 heir - one who inherits, or has the right to inherit, property after the death of its owner

I chose #2 sick and read Night of the Tiger on 9/15. Aimee gets sick when she sees several dead bodies, in chapter 13: “She glanced toward the back deck and saw three carcasses littered across the ground like garbage. Her stomach roiled and she dragged herself around the far end of the woodpile and lost her breakfast. Her throat burned as she vomited several more times.”

For snout my first thought was a dog - on cover or vital to the story and there the first two books that immediately appeared were:

I was hoping you'll do it - I've seen JoAnne's post - was one minute late again and thought you won't mind :-)
Agnieszka, my first thought for snout was a pig's snout, so I went to see if there were any pig books that I would be interested in.
I saw Charlotte's Web, but I wasn't really in the mood. I found Five Little Pigs by Agatha Christie. The ebook was available from my library, so I checked it out.

If you think a book fits the definition, then you're good to go. Here's the wording from the introduction to this challenge: "...use one of those definitions to find a book. The book can have the definition in the title, be found on the cover, or suggested somehow by the definition."
Tougher words.
I don't know. I kinda thing plumber and plunge(r) go together ;)
