We love you Susan!!!! Just go back and tell us what you think, we never get tired of discussing books!!
Ok, so those of you who are my friends will see me updating my library of books, sorry!!! But I'm sitting at my tag sale laughing. As I've gotten older I read books that are for a younger genre. Lol
Erika wrote: "We love you Susan!!!! Just go back and tell us what you think, we never get tired of discussing books!!"You all have read lots and lots of books I want to read! There goes my TBR list! Lol

Or maybe wondering why our love lives weren't like those in the books? Hahahaha
Okay so I am reading
and its awesome!!! I am inherently attracted to the bad boys....even when they are supposed to be the "bad guy" you know.....So when JLA wrote this book she decided it would be fun to let us the reader decide who Layla would end up with at the end of this trilogy.....the "good" boy or the "bad" boy. Majority rules!!! Seriously!!!!
How dumb is it that I feels like this vote could be the most important thing I contribute to the book nerd community.... I feel the weight of responsibility to choose wisely!! LOL!!

I still can't believe I'm going to be 52 in a few weeks! I swear I was just 18......once you are done with school, life just flies by doesn't it??
Totally does!!!! My birthday is next Sat and I keep telling people I am 25.......well now my kids are old enough to call me out on that......I sucks when they come running up saying "no you're not mom, you're about to be 33!!!!" Stinky kids yells it and everything!!! Hahaha!!!!

discrimination against persons of a certain age group.
2.

There you go! I am unworthy of attention! Lol
Vega_girl wrote: "Hahaha!!! It's a good thing books are not ageist???? Is that a word.......I'm pretty sure it is????"It is. Ageism is a word, so the form ageist has to exist.

Susan I'm 49 and going to hit the big 50 in April! It's nice to see another youngin like myself who loves YA!! ;). I think Erika is right I didn't start reading YA until I was older. I just love a good coming of age story now.
Erika your tag sale of books sounds like heaven to me! I can't believe you didn't sale a lot. I would of gone crazy buying books!
You know what's embarrassing is when I was in my 20's to md 30's I read a lot of books, but when I had kids I didn't seem to have the time so I starting reading comics. Quick short reads that come out monthly. It didn't take long just like reading books I was obsessed and was reading 10-12 titles a month. Haha I have thousands of them boxed up in my garage.

Haha!! Can't put it down! I just finished one that will keep me up a while thinking about it. I love books like that!
Okay so....where to start.....1. I am mad at myself because I started a book on Monday that I knew I didn't like but forced myself to finish because I wanted credit for wasting my time!!!Ughhh
2. Because of said book I did not complet the two month challenge...which really upsets me because come on I was Soooo close!!!
So frustrated.....
On another note I need rating advice.......So I read this boom and the story was Soooo good, but I felt like the author didn't do it justice...... I don't know how to rate it because while I loved the story I did not enjoy the author's style of writing....Thoughts????
As for me, if I love the story and dislike the author's style of writing, I will not give a high rating. :)
I agree. There was a book I read earlier this year that while I loved the story, I just didn't like the way the author presented it. I felt like it was thrown together...it had an okay beginning and decent ending but the middle was all over the place and things just didn't come together well. I think I may have given it 3 stars.
Did you guys see the nominees for the GR young adult 2014!?!?!?!?? So many great choices this year!!!!
