Susan How about adding the book #1 on your TBR list here......mine has been sitting there since I joined in 2008! Lol

Vega_girl | 6624 comments Haha, Ya, but I have stuff in my kindle library that aren't on the list at all they were impulsive buys......I am a sucker for a good blurb!!!! I know that just because it's on the list doesn't mean it will get read =(

Unless it's a new release....those that I have been waiting patiently for....always get read!!!

message 353: by Susan (last edited Oct 14, 2014 01:21PM) (new)

Susan I have thousands of books on my iPad under kindle ebooks and Kobo....never mind actual books that are in ten HUGE boxes waiting for me to read!!

message 354: by Vega_girl (new)

Vega_girl | 6624 comments Oh geez, so you really need a reason to break into that library!! Lol!!

OMG that is such a good idea! I tend not to over order, so I didn't think I had a lot unread on my kindle, but I just counted 10 books. :O Some where pre-orders I had done and then never got to them. LOL

Yes, light, funny, steamy the Tangled series! Tangled (Tangled, #1) by Emma Chase is from Drew's POV and he's definitely a male bad boy (with a heart), but I thought he was hilarious. I love the whole series, just for a laugh and some steam.

message 360: by Vega_girl (new)

Vega_girl | 6624 comments I will definitely check those out!!

message 361: by Vega_girl (new)

Vega_girl | 6624 comments Is it wrong that I find it incredibly difficult to pay for an ebook, what I would pay for a paper back.??????

I don't mind paying for great work really!!!! But when they start asking for $12 & $15 for ebooks..........I just don't know....

It's not wrong. I'm an author myself and hate paying the same for an ebook. If the ebook is just as much as the paperback, I'll buy the paperback. The publisher or indie author has no printing cost in the ebook, there is no reason it should cost the same.

message 364: by Vega_girl (new)

Vega_girl | 6624 comments That was my train of thought!! Good to know!!! Thanks, Emily!!!

I feel the same way, Vega_girl. I don't mind paying for a good book but an e-book should not cost the same as a paperback. I always get mad when I see that.

And thanks for giving an author's opinion on it Emily!!

Thanks Emily for the info. I agree with you Vera_girl and Chris. You are not printing anything, no materials are used. I totally don't mind spending for books, but if it's the same price, I'm going for the actual physical book.

message 395: by Erika (new)

Erika | 9482 comments So, I'm having a tag sale this weekend and went to my basement and what did I find??? Five HUGE totes of books. From children's books to adult books (keep your minds out of the gutter, I mean books that older people read I.e. Chick lit). So I realize I'm holding on to old dreams I need to unload. I realized a few things...
1) I've spent literally thousands of dollars on books which means...
2) I've read thousands of books. I had so many I've forgotten what I've read.
3)people don't read. I have a gold mine of books and I was selling them for $1'each 8 for $5 or 15 for $10. I sold very few books
So frustrating!!!

message 396: by Susan (new)

Susan Wow! I wish I was there! I would have bought a whole the at least! Lol
