Eye of the Beholder Challenge

Thank you! I'm looking forward to see if the book is as good as the blurb indicates :-)

It turns out that I am not good at picking out books to set out!
Thanks for the fun!

We'll miss you!

Could be you're totally in the 1920s reading period or do the covers just look that way to me?

They do all have that look for sure, although I think "monaco" is in the 50s and "bonnie" is in the early 30s. Maybe vintage fashion was popular even then!

Glad you liked it!

Jim keeps threatening for us to go there when the powerball comes through. When that day comes, I'll get you the next bungalow over. Bring a book...
I'm going to jump in with this challenge - let me know if I've got it wrong.
For you Jennifer, I select the book with the bright yellow dress - it just catches your eye.

Great pick and you’re practically perfect in every way! :-)

My next five are book I'm considering for the PopSugar challenge:

(After I found out the KU copy of The Princess Bride is an abridged edition, I change my mind about it)

I don't think that will be a problem :)

My next five :

Thank you so much!

To get a book in time for March I decided to put up a selection of book I can get from KU that fit my monthly challenges. So my next five are:

Thank you!

With that cute doggo on the cover, how could it not jump out at you? LOL Thanks :)

And I've just added it to my to-read list :) Dugoni is near the top of my must-read authors list, and I'm curious to see how he handles non-fiction.

It's the same for me plus I needed a true crime/mystery book for the PopSugar challenge and since it's something I'm not really fond of it's a case of two birds and one stone *grins*

Laura, i'm picking

My next five:

One Pink Line by Dina Silver - 3/21/20 ♥♥♥♥

I originally added this to my TBR to fulfill a couple of challenges, and I liked it very much. A new-to-me author and some great relatable characters.

Thank you so much. After reading recently the previous one in series (which is today free) I'm looking forward to this one and since my battery should be full now I'm going off to start the fun :-)
BTW: I loved the cover of the first one even more

All of us browse though your list, Connie. :-)

I finished the book last night and even if it was not as great as expected it was still fun and entertaining. Thank you Connie!

Barb, I chickened out on this one. Since it's a KU book, it will take a little longer than I thought now that my trial membership expires next week. I still plan to read it and think I'll join KU end of summer for a month (or a couple of them) just won't be able to tell you how it is very soon. Sorry!

No problem, I understand the KU expiration thing -- my membership expires tomorrow :)

obviously I"m going to have to buckle down on my own backlist here. Fortunately a lot of them are on audio and I have some time on my hands these days.
