I'm SHOCKED, SHOCKED to discover that the reason something on my TBR isn't on yours is that you've already read it. NOT!!!!!
I pick

My next five:

Thanks, Jennifer! I like the series too, I just fell behind somehow. I'm not a binge reader, so it'll be awhile before I catch up again.

Once Upon a Grind (Coffeehouse #14), by Cleo Coyle, finished 8/26 ★★★.5

Well, because of an HMD pick I just finished #2 in that series prior to having read #1, and it was a pretty unusual and very interesting cozy, so maybe I'll like #1 too!
I finished my last pick earlier this week:

Loriidae, I pick

My next five:

Thanks Jennifer, I enjoyed book #1

Jacked Up by Samantha Kane - 9/20/18 ♥♥♥

I don't have a list to read from but this week I have a stack from the library!
Connie,
I pick
for you. I usually like Emma Hart's books.
My options are:
Connie,

JoAnne, I pick for you

I agree about Emma Hart I like her books as well - especially the Holly Woods Files series I read the first two and waited now quite long for a deal on one of the following but no luck so I hope for a nice Christmas gift certificate to get one or two or those (among some of my other favorite series' books)
My next five (need all more or less urgently for my challenges):

Funny, I started
last night. I need to return it to the library in a few days. I haven't gotten very far but it's good so far.

I'm glad it fits so perfectly :-)

Thank you Jennifer!
Usually I'm not a fan of paranormal cozies (especially with ghost-mcs) but Pascha grew on me and even if it's sad to read the last book in series I'm still looking forward to :-)

The Devil's Highway, by Luis Alberto Urrea, finished 9/25 ★★★.5

Finished this yesterday.
I figured out the mystery pretty early on in the story.

Her book covers for the recent entries in the series are just stunning. I think it's the colors. Thanks for the pick!

Barb I choose for you

Barb I choose for you

Ack, I forgot to come back here and remove that book from my choices when I read it last week. Sorry Loriidae! I've also started two of the others in this group, so my new five choices are:

Great thanks I needed a push to get back to that series

My next five:

Night of Miracles (Arthur Truluv #2), by Elizabeth Berg, finished 11/7 ★★★★

Good cover, and appropriate to the season! Thanks Barb!

Counting Stars by Kathleen Long - 11/18/18 ♥♥♥♥

My next five are Christmas books, heavy on cowboy themes for some reason:

Do No Harm (Dr. Katie LeClair #2), by Dawn Eastman, finished 12/15 ★★★★

Connie, it's been nearly a month since you posted your books, so you may have already read one (or more) of them, but in case you haven't, I'll choose Snowflakes, Iced Cakes and Second Chances for you. The red background caught my eye immediately!

My next five:

Jennifer, for you I pick Delicious and Suspicious, which works out well, as that's on my list to read soon as well :)
