I'm like who the hell are these people!? Oh, contest. I wish I would have noticed that before I subscribed for updates!
So I finished Robin's pick for me...and I both love and hate you for it! I am so disturbed by it that I actually feel unsettled. Definitely a 5 star read for me. I will post a review once I process!!
Lisa wrote: "So I finished Robin's pick for me...and I both love and hate you for it! I am so disturbed by it that I actually feel unsettled. Definitely a 5 star read for me. I will post a review once I process!!"Oh goodie! Maybe I should read it!
Michelle wrote: "GR moved a bunch of my TBRs to "read", so if you see a bunch of posts from me, I'm trying to fix it. It's the ones I chose for my Pick For Me shelf! I guess it thinks I've now read them! Ugh ugh ugh"OMG! Who ARE all those people?!!! lol
Michelle--GR did that to about 1000 of my 'to read' books. It SUCKED getting them all straight!
Lol.
Poor anonymous blog readers.
Did you guys read to link on the other post? It links to Cara Mckenna and she mentions Maryse.

What post, bev??
Oooh, I found it. How cool! And she mentions us 'vocal and passionate romance readers"! lolShe says:
"If I wanted an informed opinion about what might be hot in romance, I’d be looking at Maryse Black’s blog, because she reads and writes about books for thirty-three hours a day, as far as I can tell! Her blog readership is vast and voracious as well, so she’s surrounded by fellow vocal and passionate romance readers, and readers are the ones who determine trends, after all. Maryse is fully emmersed!"
I've often wondered how many hours a day Maryse spent on research for her blog. Thirty-three hours sounds about right!
and again... I love US!!! no preface necessary, I love our little tribe, or as Amy so charmingly put it...blood in, blood out, LOL!

But that ending was so disturbing and uncomfortable
Michelle wrote: "Well, I lied. I want that bracelet & the Amazon gift card. No lurker better win!"I caved too, Michelle! I haven't looked at the bracelet but I'd love that gift card!
Fabi--we've got some fast readers here!
Fabi wrote: "I can't believe how quickly so many of you read your book picks!"Comfort Food was soooo darn good, I flew through that puppy...with breaks for chicken noodle soup of course!!!
Feyness was good. SUPER dark, though. I was expecting dark, but it had descriptions that went there.
All that PNR and fantasy... The irony is I never read horror. That just is asking for nightmares. I had troubles watching Supernatural, even though I love the series (Well, I did before it had that witch mom). I'd say more than half of those ended in me having nightmares after watching them. So, nope, NEVER horror.
Tessa wrote: "Um, think Pepper Winters dark."Ooh, that's definitely my kind of dark! I'm reading it soon!
Michelle wrote: "The lurkers!!! Who just comment when there is a giveaway! Ugh! Messing up the flow. Not posting on that thread!"LMAO!!!!!
You guys are cracking me up!!
Grey wrote: "Im being a complete asshole right now... but I feel like we are being invaded On the blog. like who are all those people?? gtfo! sorry, I've had a completely shitty day..."I was thinking the same thing!!!
Robin wrote: "I just wish I would have caught it before I subscribed to that thread. My email's gone crazy!"DITTO!!!

I JUST figured out how to look at the bracelet. It's really cool! LOVE it in the silver finish!
So far, I think there are about 80 people besides 'us'...ETA: But I did just add The Pawn to my pick for me shelf. The trilogy sounds good!

Ewww...they don't deserve to win! Haha! They are all coming over from Facebook.....back off!
I got The Pawn too.

IDK I think it's more. Around the retreat when I was posting the link so I could show you guys pics on my website, my web traffic went CRAZY. And those are just the ones who wanted to see some random person's pics they don't know. I'd bet the majority of them couldn't care less about my retreat pics, so there must be a TON of lurkers!
Jean wrote: "Robin, I love your newsletters by the way....."Thank you!! I have May's already done because I wrote it and then got so fired up about the pirating thing I bumped it. I still have about 15 people who haven't opened it yet and I hope they do because I'm doing 4 giveaways tomorrow!
I had NO idea it affected that much. I was so naive. I really thought the majority of people who did it wouldn't have bought the book anyway. I never thought about all the other effects it has.
WTAF, are you serious...that kind of pisses me off TBH. those people don't know us. they don't know Maryse, or spend anytime at the blog like we do... Gah, people suck. have any of us actually won one of the giveaways before? I have sour grapes today. I have had a Completely awful week so far. I'm debating blowing in tomorrow, just because I need a mental health day LOL!
Lisa wrote: "Jean wrote: "I need to read Comfort Food...."Yes...yes you do!!"
I'm not sure I would listen to Jean....Just sayin'
