In South Carolina, you can get a job at 15, but don't get full pay until you are 16. How old are you, Wolf?
When I was looking at all the labor laws, there are very few jobs you're allowed to have if you are under 16, and that is a federal law so it would apply to every state, you really can't do every job until you are the age of 18.... and with unemployment being what it is, it is very difficult for anyone under the age of 18 to get a job, at least here in California....

Berit☀️✨ wrote: "When I was looking at all the labor laws, there are very few jobs you're allowed to have if you are under 16, and that is a federal law so it would apply to every state, you really can't do every j..."Well, this is different than just a normal job.
I think she's just bringing up the huge difference between the hours legally allowed, and what you're doing. I don't know the exact circumstances, but it overall is kinda confusing when someone spends like 7 times the hours on working than at school, especially at a younger age. She was just making sure everything is okay over there, and that you're aware of the laws I guess :) so no one is overworking you if they're not allowed/supposed to be
Child labor laws are a big deal, if anybody got caught breaking them they would be in a lot of trouble, the laws are in place because a child's education is more important then Them working...

How have Edinburgh done no buddies? That's mental XD I can't imagine doing a whole month's worth of reading by myself.
Me either!! You'd think at least one member would BR... 90% of my books are BRs.

Not sure how you do it with only three hours a day of reading XD
Wolf (Alpha) wrote: "Berit☀️✨ wrote: "Wolf you might need to give up that six hours of sleep you are getting🙃"?"
She's saying in order for it to be physically possible to read more you will need to give up your sleep, considering you only have three hours a day to read...

Ah, Thing is, I haven't added all my reviews yet. I have a tendency to save them for the end of the challenge. I have a bunch of review to update, and I am still reading as well.
What you really are contradicting yourself, you just stated yesterday or the day before you had not read as much this month, because you were so busy with your three jobs, but now you're saying you have read a lot you just haven't posted the reviews?
Yea but you said you are more motivated to read more, because of how well the other team is doing. Berit's just saying that that means you'll be giving up more sleep then
Again, I think most of us are just curious as to how you read as much as you do and as fast as you do, not only at your age, but also with the schedule you took the liberty of posting. Perhaps instead of "saving them", you should post them... like all of the other teams do. I see that only as fair.
Yea... it used to not be "allowed" to save up reviews. Since that's not fair to both the mods, and other teams (because I saved all my reviews until my team found the star that wouldn't be fair at all, especially because of this challenge.)
Meaghan wrote: "Yea... it used to not be "allowed" to save up reviews. And I honestly think it's much easier to cheat when you flood reviews. My suggestion would be to post as you complete (unless you notify your team/the Mods otherwise) and post updates on your normal feed. I always mark when I start/stop by books and typically add page updates too. Not saying everyone has to do this, but I just find it helpful for me & my team :)
We encourage people to post reviews as they go along, we don't want to have to bring back the rule about review dumping as it isn't fair to people who can't post as they go along for some reason, but purposefully saving them up to try and beat a team at the last moment is not good sportmanship, and we don't encourage it at all.
Sarah wrote: "We encourage people to post reviews as they go along, we don't want to have to bring back the rule about review dumping as it isn't fair to people who can't post as they go along for some reason, b..."I was not trying to do that. I can't get on here every time I need to post a review.
Meaghan wrote: "But you just said you had the tendency to save them though? Now I'm a bit confused"& I've noticed you have quite a bit of activity on other accounts throughout the day.... I'm a bit confused too Meaghan.

But you just said 'I have a tendency to save them for the end of the challenge.'

Lol. This brings back memories of when there used to be discussions like this and some of us just sat back and had the popcorn watching the drama unfold.
Yeah Wolf is really got some esplainin to do... (my Ricky voice from I love Lucy). I know I know. Lame.

@Cinthia Hahah, it was around April last year as well. Maybe there's something in the air this time of year? And yea... she definitely does. She's been back pedaling on things she's said quite a few times these past two days.

Haha! I agree Cinthia, I just closed the book and was reading comments since all this started. I was thinking why there isn't "like button" to like comments.
