Thank you, Carole!

I started reading 'Navigating Indie World' and marvel how this type of book is fascinating reading. I would be much further in my reading, but I've been immersed in a couple of new projects. However, letting you know it will be my pleasure to write a review when I finish it.

Looks like we have something in common. I don't like coffee either Alexis and Erica. But like Erica I do love the smell of coffee. Tea or hot chocolate would be great for me.

They are wonderful people. These are the bloggers people need to spread the word of their books. I mean, these are for children's books only, but that's my genre. There are tons of them for adult stuff.
When you do decide to pitch your book to a blog- look it over and make sure your books will match their style. Check their posts and see what kind of books they like to review. Don't send a romance to someone who likes science fiction.
Also, pitch the book without sending it. You have to ask them if they'd like to look at it. Don't presume and just send it.
Getting them to write about you takes usually requires sending a copy of the book.

And even then you have to be careful to respect their religious beliefs. Many of them asked not to send anything with Halloween or other customs in them. We had a huge spreadsheet and we still made mistakes, but they were very understanding. We had to get it all out in one day!

I do not watch a lot of satisfaction, but a few days ago a friend recommended I think Amazon's products, I feel very buy used rods in other sites. Very functional. Love how easy it is. These are wonderful---magical EXACTLY WHAT I WAS HOPING!!! Rare for these items. Well designed. Great product. Just wanted I was hoping for and more.

Can you guys report it as abuse- It drags down his average and I have no idea what she is talking about.

Which reminds me about that old joke as to why seniors don't interview well:

Interviewer: "So, tell me a little about yourself."
Senior: "Well, I do tend to say what's on my mind."
Interviewer: "Well, I think there's a lot to be said about be honest with people."
Senior: "Who gives a S$%^ what you think!"

Kimberly Hockaday | 79 comments Congratulations to everyone on their success. I have one to share but not really sure it's legit. A woman claiming to be the president of a book club said she would have her members order both of my books(50 members). She was seeking information about myself and my publisher. I have had a small book club read my book but this sounds too good to be true and my publisher felt the same. We are waiting to see if she is who she says she is and will order the books. If this is legit then great for me but even if it's a lie then nothing lost.

Mary Ellen Woods (maryellen_woods) | 76 comments Carole, I got a reply to a post on my blog that was similar to that review. What the person said made absolutely no sense. Fortunately, Word press allows you to mark comments as spam and delete them. Don't we wish Amazon would allow that? LOL!

message 1499: by Carole (new)

Carole P. Roman | 4665 comments Mod
Yup. I have at least one on each book!! It's annoying, because they are quick to get rid of good reviews. Everyday I check and they have gotten rid of at least one review.

message 1500: by Mary Ellen (new)

Mary Ellen Woods (maryellen_woods) | 76 comments That is crazy when the ones we are discussing are so clearly not even about the book. *sigh*
