Hello Valentines!
Just to let you know I finished

which Apoorv read Feb 25, 2014
I thought about reading this over Christmas, but all the copies were taken! Like everyone, I know the story very well. Actually every year I watch a Muppets Christmas Carol while we decorate our Christmas tree and I was surprised to see how much of the dialogue was taken straight from the book!
;)

I added the two books Elena mentioned above. Books STARTED and COMPLETED between February 14-28 can be used for the mini-challenge AND for the general UNO game.
Start filling the sheet up. :)

Off to scour through things.

Oh I loved Scrooge too, that was a great film!
I have Bleak House on my list to read this year for a challenge. It is over 1000 pages so I'm not sure when I will start it, but I have the audiobook also so that may be how I get through!!

Blockade Billy by Stephen King (132 pages)

Cards: 0 - stand alone, 3 - char. Pinky Higgins, 6 and Skip - author Stephen King, 8 - char. Eugene Katsanis
Valentine: Part 1, task 1 (read this month by Daniela)
It's very short and a quick read if anyone is considering reading it. Meant for baseball enthusiasts, which I'm not, so that part sadly was somewhat lost on me, but there's enough of characterization and excellent storytelling that Stephen King is known for to make for an enjoyable story.

Just wanted to check in and see how you're doing on the mini challenge since we (team poirot) are your valentine apparently ;) has everyone found books in our lists they like? :)
Ps: I read A Christmas Carol just around Christmas 2016!

Hopefully we can get a few books from the list read for the mini challenge.

Hi Christina! Thanks for visiting us! There's plenty to choose from for sure, just matter of finding time to read all I want to read! :)

A couple of technical moments:
Apoorv - It looks like you finished reading Cobalt Blue but it's still marked as Currently Reading on the book's main page. Can you tag it as Read when you have a moment please?
And Rachel - can you add Cherry Cheesecake Murder to your UNO shelf so we could use it for our challenge? Thank you!
