I enjoyed all of the books on this list except for Her Perspective: Gaia Speaks About Her True Story. I normally like mythology stories but the narrative was too jumbled for me. If I wasn't reading it specifically for a challenge, I wouldn't have read past the 1st chapter.
I've finished all 15 of this challenge. Fun!COLOR CHALLENGE - FINISHED

Just completed #11 (black) - Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of the Lusitania by Erik Larson. I love Larson's book, but I had avoided this one due to bad reviews. I'm so glad that I read it! While it was a bit denser than Larson's other books, he made the passengers and the tragedy come alive. Definitely worth reading! 4 stars12/15

Just completed #13 (at least 5 colors) - I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson. The writing is very interesting and took me awhile to get used to the two different time period's and voices. However, about a third of the way in, the story gripped me, and I got sucked in to this lovely world of pain and art and teenagers. Worth reading! 4 stars13/15

I'm starting a second round since I've gone through most of the choices already. So my second #13 (more than five colors on the cover) - Windwitch by Susan Dennard. Overall, I liked this book and will keep reading the series. However, there were some major issues particularly at the beginning. There's a big difference between the author keeping the reveal secret from her audience and not being able to convey her key plot points. I felt there was a lot left unsaid in the book that made it much more difficult to enjoy. It got better towards the end, and I am still invested in reading the next book. Worth reading. 3.5 starsRound 1 - 13/15
Round 2 - 1/15
