I voted again in Cover Wars.171.) Love's a Funny Thing: A Pride and Prejudice Variation Romance 5 stars
I just voted and we are still behind. It just kills me that we are up against that most excellent Christie Capps cover. That is just wrong.
I agree. I do love that cover also but made a choice to support the larger number of authors. Sorry, Joy.
Okay, venting alert! This is the third book in a row (in all honesty, one of the previous two was NOT JAFF) where I was happily reading and immersed in an excellent story when the hero or heroine has thoughts to the effect of "if it weren't happening to him/her, he/she would think it was something out of a novel."
AAARRRGGGHHH!! But it IS a novel!! And now I'm reminded that it's a novel, and my happy state of immersion is ruined for the moment!!
Why do so many writers, even good ones, seem to think this is a clever little observation? Does this annoy the sh*t out of anyone else, or am I just overreacting here?
It's OK.... take a deep breath... they think it is cute and just don't realize how annoying it is. You will be OK... just breathe, in and out.

Yes, I was just yesterday reading one in which the author talks to the reader...I am laughing...explaining how things are...really?!
Would somebody please tell them how disruptive it is to a pleasurable reading experience? How do we get the word out so these otherwise brilliant authors would stop doing this? And yes, Jeanne... I'm breathing. Perhaps huffing a bit, too, but it's not as though I'm having a temper tantrum and holding my breath until I turn blue. Lots of breathing going on here. Oh, and perhaps some growling. Yeah, that's what that sound is, and it's coming from me, so that proves I'm definitely breathing...

I was reading the story description and several of the reviews. This story looks to be very disturbing to one's peace of mind. Insane thought?

in some ways but it has a great ending and Lady Catherine gets hers about half way through
113 Red Moon Over MerytonI had high hopes for this but was disappointed. It ended at an akwardplace in the story to only be told that there was a pt 2, but not when it would be released. Bummer

I hate that! Congrats on moving right along!
That is not right to have a cliffhanger and give you no hint as to when the next book with come out.
172.) A Quest for Mr Darcy 5 stars Loved it all over again as I read this first as a WIP and then when it was published.
114 The Despicable Parsonthis was very short and left many threads hanging which is why I gave it 3 stars. it would have gotten a 5 star if it would have finished those loose ends
173.) A Quest for Mr Darcy 5 stars: read twice as I also read it as a WIP174.) Unpublished: Of Sense and Education by Eleanor https://www.fanfiction.net/s/2703733/...
by EllaBella87 4 stars about 175 pages

We do run into those types of stories once in awhile. Thankfully not too often but it still counts as another book off the pile.
115 Shall we danceOnly seven chapters long but is a delightful romp and had me laughing out loud at times. Well done sir
176.) Pride, Prejudice and Prejudice By: GoGG A mystery, that departs from P&P at the very end – Darcy does not return to Longbourn to propose to Elizabeth. At Jane's wedding he ignores her and after shuns her. Can Elizabeth discover why Darcy has turned against her? Is there hope of a happy ending?https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6468288/... 4 stars unpublished 18 chapters
177.) Pride and Imagination 3 stars. Very short but varies on what happens after the Hunsford proposal
Everyone is moving at warp speed. Excellent selections... my wish-list has exploded with all the new entries. Goodness... where is the time?
Sheila-Happy Birthday!! 🎉Hope you have a fantastic day out and that today will be a day to remember!!!
Yea!!! Sheila has a birthday!!! Have a blessed and safe day and... since we know you are on your TRIP!!! Enjoy!! Woohoo!! Be sure and have a great time.
I don't catch a bus until 1:20 so Thank You, both for the wishes. The author is also meeting us for dinner before her talk. How great is that.
We had a super time in NYC with The Making of Jane Austen. Met two more authors and the talk was attended by a large group/fairly even number of men and women...mostly older adults, not too many YA. I believe these were the two other authors there. Kirk, Claudine...do I have that right?

I am surprised you are not sleeping in considering how late you were going to arrive home. Great meeting you in person.

A Party at Longbourn sounds like good times. Way to keep adding to the numbers, Lenora.
