OMG!!! Kirk... you're just plain evil. I laughed my head off. What a farce... OMG!! That was simply hilarious. Thank you for this funny moment just before I leave the house for a family reunion. I hope no one goes to jail this year... or the hospital. Yeah, Dad and his brothers are a rowdy bunch. He's 91 and they are in their 80s... bunch of old farts. Yeah, it's gonna be fun.

Maybe it will unchain my muse....

You made me laugh until the tears came. An inspired update to be sure. :) I'll try not to make sport of your sensibilities over Mr. C in future years. LOL Congrats on reaching this momentous level.

Thanks!!!!!! Lol, there's much crying in JAFF reading. Mr Who??? Grrr!
Still plugging away at JAFF. Read a few non-JAFF over the past few weeks, too. Still attempting to get through my June Someone-Pick-It-For-Me book (chosen by Kirk), but it may end up being a DNF. Jane Austen and Mozart: Classical Equilibrium in Fiction and Music is just not keeping my attention. Pretty dry stuff. More of a college text than anything entertaining.Didn't get reviews posted for everything this time around, either. It was another busy period away from my computer much of the time.

Kirk, you certainly have made an impressive entrance into Mr. B's Library. I'm sure he was as amused as the rest of us!

Hey, you still got a ton read. Bummer the music one isn't holding your interest. Moving right along, Debbie. :)

Sorry about the music...laugh at myself...the local orchestra will be playing one of the pieces at their summer home...and it will be shown on a big screen on Boston Common. Normally I'd sleep thru the piece....
Wow! Debbie, you got a lot read... excellent numbers... great selections. Although I see some low numbers... I do see a few 5's. That is always like finding a rose among the thorns.
...and Sheila keeps chugging along near the head of the pack!! You go, girl! You'll be joining Sara in Mr. Darcy's library before we know it!!

Excellent progress.
Jeanne, I highly recommend Barbara Silkstone's book with Lady Susan. Absolutely unique storyline, and the best writing from this author of all her books that I've read. It's pricy ($7.99 in the U.S.), but it's worth it.Thanks for the encouragement, ladies!
Sheila, Mrs. Reynolds knows that you are on your way to Pemberley and is making preparations for your convenience. When you arrive, a footman will direct you to the correct hall that leads to Mr. Darcy's Library. Several GR friends are already there and they are awaiting your entrance. You will be most welcome.
Thoughtful of you to make sure of preparations. My heart is a flutter. My nerves won't quit in anticipation.
Thank you, Sara. I am thinking I won't see you as you will be into the next level...what ever it is named.
Sheila wrote: "Thank you, Sara. I am thinking I won't see you as you will be into the next level...what ever it is named."Nah, I'm just going to stay and haunt Mr. Darcy's library. It's been my goal all along. To haunt him that is.
Hey Jeanne! Have you found your way there yet? I know you're a certified member of Mr. B's library, but I'd expect that you're close to official entry to Mr. D's library by now, if you're not already there!
Debbie wrote: "Well, you and Wose are doing a wonderful job of haunting, Sara!"Thanks. I'm wiling to do anything to be near Mr. Darcy. (Swoon!)

Here is how it happened according to my favorite cycling announcers Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen...moments before the start of the Tour de France...
Phil: He's driving those reading gears really hard, I think..maybe...my goodness...YES HE's DONE IT!!! He's crossed the reading line into the Mr Bennet jersey...This is amazing!!! Paul, how did he do it this half year after being the hobgoblin of foolish TBR reading consistency with 72 in '15 and 73 in '16??????
Paul: Well you know Phil....as with bike racing...a really good start sets the tone for the entire season. The "wicked" fast start in January gave hope to a successful campaign. His teammates deserve a huge amount of credit too with finding so many of those short and mostly sweet reads that kept the reading machine operating at maximum power. Of course, the reading organization deserves credit too. And TBR reading director gets credit and thanks for many thing including the change in 76-100 category name from Crayfish(grrr) to Capt H. While our reader might not of reached 101 the past years, the thought of landing(as petty as this is!!!!!) in the Crayfish zone was not something our reader wanted to do. Future years could result in team and reading changes, so this really was the year, Phil.
Phil: What does the future of reading year hold, I wonder?
Paul: Our reader has been predicting a drop off for a few months but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe it will happen now but who knows. I feel confident in saying that there will be reading but given various outside factors may drop the reading pace line back to '15 and '16 levels.
Phil: Do you think he's been on the reading "special sauce"?
Paul: No, Phil, I really don't think so. His reading times seem to line-up with prior years. Certainly there has been a drop-off in non-TBR reading this half-year.
Phil: Thanks for tuning in to this bit of reading drivel. Tune in(don't drop out) later in the year for a full year recap....maybe.
Paul: Bye!
