Maybe I should make my own.

I think I'm having a Deja Vu moment listening to the song "The Ballad of Mona Lisa" by Panic! At the Disco

Never heard that song, but I should listen to it tomorrow...

Lol I didn't realize I ever left that hospital!

Short... Whatever
My mum has two SIM cards: one in her current phone and the other in her old cellular phone. She wanted me to put the second one in her first so that she could use both from the same phone, because viola - all other times, everyone wishes I'm dead but when it has to do with computers and electronics, 'Yo Hallie! We literally have degrees related to this and you don't, but somehow you're better than us at this crap and we're just very, very lazy, so do this for us'. Boy, they are going to lose a hell a lot of money, time and energy when I'm gone because switching off and on a phone is rocket science.
Anyway, that's what I was doing. I ran a couple of tests to see if it worked, and Mum came over to see. So I started to explain to her how to use it, and I had just said, "By default, your phone uses the first SIM. To- oh wait, Aunt S is calling!" Which was strange because the same aunt had already called a few hours back. That's how I knew that whatever was coming next would be bad news - most likely someone's death. (The rest of my family are really dumb in that way. I mean it's the exact same reaction to a particular situation every damn time. How do you not see it coming?)
Mum picked the call and I was right. Initially all I understood was 'oh my god' and 'younger brother', but then she said 'Then we can't go there' and I ventured a guess again. Since 'we can't go there', it's most likely my dad's brother's wife. We had planned to go to their house soon. My aunt is a sweet soul and my mum was telling her sister that the younger brother was a nice guy who wasn't that old either. I kind of wished it was but true and the chances of that happening was good because I suck at Welsh and I suck at keeping track of my relatives. I also heard something that I interpreted as 'died as soon as he got hit'. Why do people that family know keep dying in accidents?
Then Mum ended the call saying that my dad's brother might call later and we'll get to know the details when that happens. Okay, the chances of me being wrong and now very less. Dang! Then she came back to me and asked me to resume the explanation. I did and just when I finished, she said, "Cousin C2's uncle passed away in an accident." And me, being the heartless monster I am, replied, "Oh!" I knew that already, Mum. Not psychic, just an excellent listener.
And then I changed the settings for her so that she did operate more easily, and after that, she went to tell my brother. I bet he said the same thing, too, because both of us don't really remember meeting our cousin's uncle. My dad was in the bath, but when he came out and heard this, he kept pushing for details and Mum was like, "It happened just a few hours ago, and apparently not even your sister-in-law knows. How on earth would I know?" We still don't know anything else, but someone will call soon to tell us.
The thing is I am legit begging to die here, and random people in Wales, who want to live and whom people love die. I know I'm being insensitive, but honestly, I have no idea how to react to news about someone's death, so my defense mechanism is thinking of my own. Oh wait, that's my defense mechanism for everything.
Anyway, it's shocking, though. My aunt had to get her toe fingers amputated a couple of months ago (which she is hiding from her own parents), and her father suffered from a stroke this time last year because her sister's husband went to prison. Apparently it was the tension about his daughter's plight that caused the stroke and that's the reason why my aunt didn't tell them about her leg. He still hasn't recovered completely from that stroke, and I'm worried what's going to happen there. Both my cousins are out of the country, and I doubt Cousin Q can fly back from Malaysia, and unlike Hallie, those two know their relatives very well and would feel more emotions. Agh!!!!
