Glad to be of help Kerri!
I'm still looking for a book where the main character is on holiday if anyone has any good recommendations ....
Here is a question for anyone who has read The Woman in Cabin 10. Is the MC on holiday or is she working? The blurb says she's recovering from a trauma but I think she might also be on the cruise as a journalist.
I want to read The Fireman soon, so I thought I would read it in the Summer Challenge. What colour what this most likely come under? Red, Yellow?

When you see it in the flesh(so to speak) it is 50% orange and 50% yellow. So you could use it for either:)

Carolyn, you've probably already read it, and I can't easily check, but the one that springs to mind for a main character on holiday is David Nicholls book, Us. Maybe this will help another reader, if not you.

Carolyn, didn't you get the invitation? Glad you've found it anyway! And some really great choices coming through :)
Brenda wrote: "Carolyn, didn't you get the invitation? Glad you've found it anyway! And some really great choices coming through :)"No, I didn't get it Brenda. Have checked back through my email. Also didn't get one for the readathon.
I didn't send one out for the readathon this time...trying something different :) But I definitely sent one out for this! Not sure why some people would miss out...
Thanks for the suggestion Andrea - it's a good one but I have read it. As you say someone else might use it!No luck so far looking through titles with 'vacation' or 'holiday' in the title so I'll keep checking out other people's choices :)
Brenda wrote: "Nice list Sharon :) I can see at least one AA there which is great!"I wanted to put I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak but there's not enough yellow on the cover!
Hi Andrea, thanks so much for the recommendation, I've been looking for a holiday book but nothing has really grabbed my attention thus far. The rating and reviews on this book looks great, so I'd say I've finally my holiday book choice... which means my list is now complete - yay! *Happy dance* lol

It doesn't need vacation or holiday in the title - the MC has to be on holidays :) As in Fearless whose MC is in Bali from AU ;)

In the Frannie Shoemaker cosy series every book they're away on vacation. They're camping at the different places each book. That's just a suggestion - I really enjoy the series.
Bats and Bones is the first in the series :)

Thanks Brenda, sounds good - when I checked it out I discovered it's already on my tbr so I think I'll give it a go :)I was thinking of re-reading an Agatha Christie; Miss Marple always seems to be staying in hotels somewhere, but a new cosy would be even better!

I have received emails for the December and Aussie crime challenges so all seems to be working now :)
Great Carolyn :) It seems to pick members at random that it doesn't send to! Temperamental computers ;)

I've just finished The Woman in Cabin 10, Carolyn, and can highly recommend it - it's a real page-turner! However the main character is definitely meant to be working as she's on the ship as a journalist in order to be able to write an article telling of her experience, so she isn't on holiday...
