Tess and Momo went into the common room to look for forks, which was buzzing with activity despite the late hour. Most took no notice of them, except for one girl, who was dressed in baggy pink pajamas dotted with white polka-dots, a top and bottom. She was carrying a white stuffed rabbit and her floor-long black hair was tangled with a giant lopsided pink bow on the side of her head.

"Good night!" She grinned. "Or morning! I don't really know, I just woke up!"

"You sleep during the day?" Momo asked in a curious tone, and the girl nodded.

"Uh-huh! It's weird, I know, but nobody else really minds it,"

"What are you going to do once classes start?" Tess asked. "Oh, but I love your pajamas!!" She giggled, almost wishing she had pajamas that cute.

She thought about it. "Good question. Bring an umbrella like I always do when the sun's out! Thank you!"

"Are you a vampire?" Momo asked, looking for fangs, but she shook her head.

"I'm a fairy! But I control the darkness. Oh but I'm really nice!" She smiled widely.

((I can see Caramel and Tess being best friends since they're both bright, happy, and friendly girly-girls who also just happen to have really dark destructive powers))

"A fairy who likes the dark, that's new and different," Tess said, considering that. She'd never met a fairy before in the first place, but she hadn't even heard of a fairy who liked darkness.

"Yup! Hmmmm..." She looked around the room and went over to an open window and carefully pulled some of the darkness, much like tugging on a scarf. She then wrapped it around herself and vanished. "Ta-da! I can cloak myself in the darkness and vanish!" She then pulled it off herself and reappeared. "But don't tell anyone I can do that, it has to be a secret!"

"My name's Momo, what's your?"

"Caramel! Caramel Chanel!"

Tess gasped in amazement as Caramel made herself disappear. "That was awesome!" she declared before she realized they were introducing themselves. "I'm Tess Maou," she said quickly, not wanting to be left out.

"So now we all know each other, what'd you come in here for?" Caramel asked in a curious tone, bouncing the stuffed animal in her arms.

"Some forks since we got some chocolate cake," Momo explained, only to have Caramel's eyes practically pop out of her head.

"Chocolate cake?! Can I have some?! I love sweets! Especially caramels!"

"Oh yes, we should share the cake!" Tess said and looked at Momo, remembering it was her roommate's cake. "That is, if you want to share. It's your cake, after all."

"I don't mind if she shares with us! It's an awfully large cake and just the two of us can't share it," Momo ran and got it from her dorm and showed it to her, which got the attention of the other Niji dorm members. They all asked her for a piece, which she smiled at. "You all can have a piece!"

"This is why I love the people in Niji! They're so friendly and love to share!" Caramel grinned.

"Oh yes, I can't think of any other house that would do this," Tess agreed. "It's awesome to be here! Or should I say, it's sweet?" She began to giggle.

Caramel laughed with her. "I think we're going to be best friends! You two should also meet my twin sister, Coco. She's not in this house though, and is asleep right now," She started to eat the cake.

"More twins?" Momo asked in amazement.

"Oh goodness, I must have a thing for twins," Tess giggled, not thinking much about it at all. Twins weren't that strange to her in the least. "But I totally think we'll be best friends too! I would love to meet your sister, whenever she wakes up."

"She'll wake up in the morning, when I go to bed usually. She's in the Marauders dorm," Caramel explained, eating her cake. "Seems kinda odd for her, but whatever,"

"Is she a dark fairy too?" Momo asked.

"Nope, she's a light fairy!"

"Wait, how do you spend any time together then?" Tess asked, starting to eat her own cake. She wondered how it would work to have a sibling you barely saw.

"We make it work. I don't sleep as much as she does, so we spend time together during the day, but I need my umbrella if we're out in the sun since otherwise I'll get sick," Caramel said in a serious tone. "She gets weaker and sleepier when it's dark out,"

"That's still quite an interesting situation," Tess said and put a rather large chunk of cake in her mouth and chewed it up well before swallowing.

"Maruaders...isn't that for the brave?" Momo thought about it.

"Yup! But honestly I don't know why she was put in there. She's not really very brave, mostly dark and gloomy. I think she'd be better in Kyuusho or whatever," Carmel continued to eat her cake.

"But she's not really evil, so why but her in there just because she's gloomy? Surely she's done something brave at least once in her life?"

"Hmmm....she protects me, but I can hold my own in a fight! People are always so surprised when they meet me, since I'm a girly-girl but can choke people with the darkness! Literally..."

"Kyuusho isn't for the evil, it's for the quick and cunning," Tess chimed in. "If your sister protects you, whether or not you need it, that would be enough to make her a Marauder."

"Well Blaze and Bolt aren't really quick and cunning," Momo chimed in herself.

"That dorm scares me! I know some of those people would want to take advantage of an innocent fairy like myself!" Caramel shivered. "My sister's personality would fit right in though,"

"But they're vampires, and vampires typically are," Tess said. "But they're not evil either. A lot of people in Kyuusho dorms are kinda scary looking....but most of them are good, nice people!" She insisted. Her own father had been placed in that dorm and now she felt the need to defend it.

"Like how Coco is dark and emotionless when you first meet her, but in reality, she's so nice! Don't tell anyone I told you this, but she loves gardening! She has a flower garden she tends to herself using her own magic!" Caramel grinned.

"She's seen some of them, but she pretends to dislike them when people are around. When it's lunch time or something though I often see her down in the gardens, giving them proper lighting and water and stuff!" She explained happily. "I wish you two could go meet her right now!"

Caramel thought about it. "We sometimes eat breakfast together. We could meet her tomorrow at breakfast!" She grinned, happy to have decided that.

Caramel finished her cake and noticed the common room was almost completely empty except for them and pouted. "That is what I hate the most about being a fairy of the night....nobody to talk to!"

"Well I'm loaded up on sugar now," Tess said. "I could stay up and talk to you if you want." She didn't like people to feel alone, and she didn't feel like going to sleep just yet, so she was perfectly fine with staying up for a while longer.

"Maybe we could see if Coco's awake!" Caramel offered happily.

"You two can go ahead, I've had a long day and I want to go to bed," Momo declined, walking away. Caramel pouted slightly.

"Well, you're still here! Let's go!" She helped her out of her seat.

"Alright, bye Momo!" Tess waved politely. She understood why her friend had to go, though she was a bit sad as well. Tess popped out of her seat, excited nonetheless. "Let's go!" she agreed.

"To Marauders it is!" Caramel grinned and led her new friend there, wishing briefly she could unfold her wings and fly there faster, but knew it was too dangerous to show off her wings here.

After changing into some new clothes, Blaze went down to Caramel's common room to wait for her. He had to admit he was a little nervous going to the club, and really hoped that Caramel backed out...but he would still go if she wanted to.
