"So you don't know what you are then? Not even a real vampire?" she said.

"Nope, I have red eyes and fangs but that's kind of it. I can also fly. I've met other vampires who can fly as well. Those capsules are full of synthetic blood but it is mostly just vitamins and food substitute. Most people get scared because I have fangs and red eyes" He replied, tapping his feet lightly.

[Haaley, ᙏoᑯ oƒ ᙏᥲ⳽tᥱɾɩᥒɠ ᙃᥙᥒɠᥱoᥒ⳽]

She shook her head. "You smell like a vampire but I noticed that you were very different from any vampire I've ever encountered."

[Lazzeretto]

"Yeah, that too. I guess. I am also rediculously pale. I'm not a fan of that either. I have been told that in fight or flight situations I tend to behave more like a normal vampire would but i have also been told that I could be a fire elemental. And that is just silly." He said laughing a little.

[Haaley, ᙏoᑯ oƒ ᙏᥲ⳽tᥱɾɩᥒɠ ᙃᥙᥒɠᥱoᥒ⳽]

"Not like I've ever met. But I've not travelled the universe. Maybe some day. But my parents would probably never allow it," Quinn told him.

"If you wanted I would travel with you. I've been almost everywhere at least once and I would be more than happy to show you the cool parts of the universe." He offered encouragingly.

[Haaley, ᙏoᑯ oƒ ᙏᥲ⳽tᥱɾɩᥒɠ ᙃᥙᥒɠᥱoᥒ⳽]

"You've only been through one universe then?" Quinn asked him. "School history tells us that there are many."

"I'm not sure what ones I have been to but I know i have been to at least 2. I was in one that got destroyed and then I spent a good amount of years just jumping through any rift or portal I saw just to see where it took me" He explained.

[Haaley, ᙏoᑯ oƒ ᙏᥲ⳽tᥱɾɩᥒɠ ᙃᥙᥒɠᥱoᥒ⳽]

"I just took an airship here," Quinn told him.

[Lazzeretto]

"Like a boat? In the sky?" He asked, tilting his head to the side slightly almost like a kitten.

((Sorry I've been spotty, I just got let go from my job at the station over a listener complaint over the tone of my voice. I'll try to be as active as I can but it's going to be a bit hard to be consistent while trying to quickly find another job so I don't lose my apartment))

Quinn smiled. "More like a Zepplin. I can show you them tomorrow if you like," she said, looking at the clocks.

"I would love that, I've never been in a zeppelin. I've flown around them a bit though" He replied, floating around in circles momentarily before resuming his place back in the chair.

((The hardest part is that it was so sudden and I didn't have much saved))

She smiled. "It's similar. Kinda like a cross between one of them and a pirate ship mix with a hot air balloon," Quinn explained, moving her hands exaggeratedly as she spoke.

"Oh man, that sounds really cool. I feel like I have seen one of those but I have definitely been on one" He said, as he nodded in affirmation.

"Then it's a plan. We'll go tomorrow," she said with a yawn.

He floated around momentarily in an almost happy dance sort of manner. "Yes please. You look sleepy, would you like me to walk you to your room?" He asked. He always felt it was best to be as much of a gentleman as possible.

[Haaley, ᙏoᑯ oƒ ᙏᥲ⳽tᥱɾɩᥒɠ ᙃᥙᥒɠᥱoᥒ⳽]

Quinn shrugged. "I'm really not that....tired," she said, stifling another yawn. "Where will you go? Not back to Kai, I hope."

"Well, I would because that's where I stay. I can put up a divider between the two sides so he has less of a problem with my existence. You also certainly seem sleepy" He explained as he flew upward a bit, also yawning.

"Well, I'm not sure where you'll get one at this time of night. But you could use sheets. There's a closet in your room that starts out full of sheets, so you can make your bed."

He nodded and said "Yeah, that's probably what I'll end up doing"

"Do you want help?" she asked, stretching.

"Sure" He said as he touched back down. "In all honesty I was going to scoop you up and take you to your room then go to bed but I do enjoy company as you may have noticed"

She laughed nervously and tucked her hair behind her ear. "You don't have to carry me."

[Lazzeretto]

"Well I didn't want you falling asleep while we walk. Besides, I would be flying at that point" he said laughing a bit.

"I don't know how many people you know that are so tired that they just drop while they're walking. However, I'm not one of them. I'm capable. But I wouldn't mind the company.

"Well usually when I carry people I have to carry nearly dead people so they don't die and stuff and sometimes very very sleepy people" He said, yawning.

"But I can walk by myself. It's not far," she said with a smile. "I'll meet you in the courtyard at 9, tomorrow?"

Ren nodded, smiled and replied. "Sure, I'm down for 9. Have a good night."

Quinn got up and waved at him slightly. "Good Night Ren."

A friends-versy, or whatever Tess called it, was something very unfamiliar to Cassius, but once she explained into him earlier he decided he was all on-board for that. Mainly because he could never turn down an excuse to see her common room. He had no idea what he was supposed to do or bring, so he just brought a few frosted cupcakes from the mess hall and dressy-causal under his leather jacket in an attempt to look nice.

“I brought cupcakes,” He announced upon seeing her, holding out the plate.

Tess had gotten their little "dinner" ready, which was really just some potato salad and sandwiches she'd bought from Meira. She'd never actually had a friendaversary before but she had heard about it and she didn't see why it wouldn't be any different from a normal anniversary. Other than the fact that they weren't dating.

"Awesome! Did you get the soda too?" she asked, since she had texted him to get some, but it might have been too late.

"Oh," Cassius responded, blinking as he set the cupcakes down next to the rest of the food. "I guess I forgot. Oh well. I know from experience there's different flavours of milk in that fridge, so I think we'll be fine," He then shrugged. "Unless you're allergic to milk,"

"I'm not allergic," she said, but she was hoping for soda almost all day. But oh well. What was done was done. It was partially her fault anyway. "Don't worry about it. The milk would be just fine."

"I just thought we'd eat and exchange presents. That's what anniversaries are for, right?" she asked, since that was how she'd always understood it.

“Right. Sorry, my parents didn’t really do the whole ‘anniversary’ thing. Or celebrations in general,” Cassius shrugged again. “But it’ll be fun since it’ll be with you,”

"That's okay, I learned from my mom," Tess said, since she wasn't sure her father would have celebrated any anniversaries if not for her. Granted...there wouldn't be many anniversaries without her.
