Caramel hadn't seen Blaze for a while and thus was surprised when he showed up at her dorm that day, carrying a bunch of stuff in his arms and talking a mile a minute about some new pranks he wanted to try out. Curious, and knowing she'd be alright because the moon was out that night, she led him to her commons and watched him spread everything out on the table. "So, who's our target this time around?" She felt by that point they got a lot of people with interesting reactions, and she wasn't sure she wanted to go after a staff member yet.

"Um....that's a tricky question," Blaze said. Despite all the plans he had for a thousand different pranks, he hadn't decided which person they should target. "I feel like most of our old targets have gotten wise and won't let us do it anymore. I don't want anyone to get mad, you know? Maybe we should try a teacher? Some of them might really get a kick out of it."

"Which ones? Most teachers seem really strict," Caramel responded. "And there aren't any new students we can try on....teachers....hmmm....I don't know, what about the magic teacher? She knows about all kinds of magic stuff so maybe she'd like it. Oh or maybe one of the science teachers?" Her mind was starting to work a mile a minute. "Oh the slime you got this time has glitter in it!"

"Oh, yeah. The science teachers would be great," Blaze said getting excited. He smiled proudly when she realized he had gotten the glitter stuff. "I did, just for you! I saw it and knew you would like it better than the lame stuff."

"Awwww!" She gasped. "So, one of the science teachers! I'm so happy you agree!" Caramel picked up one of the tubes of slime and tilted it slightly in her hands, watching the viscous fluid. "I think I'd like to teach magic here one day, it sounds like fun. It's basically like pranking every day but allowed and you get paid for it!"

Blaze made a face. "Teaching, really?" he asked, the words sounding worse coming out of his mouth than he meant. "Why would you want to deal with little snots all day. I mean, we're far from the worst students and I wouldn't want to teach even us."

Caramel pouted at that. "What's wrong with being a teacher?! It'd be fun! I'd love to teach magic! And not everyone here is bad, my sister is nice, I'd like to have her to teach!"

"I guess," Blaze conceded with a lame shrug. "But why are you thinking about that anyway? We have a long time before we have to worry about anything like that."

Caramel pouted a bit. "You remember how I said fairies age super fast in comparison to tons of other stuff?"

"Yeah, but then why would you want to worry about a job?" Blaze asked, though the shorter life span unnerved him greatly. He didn't think about it on purpose.

Blaze held his hands up as in surrender. Why did she care so much? He hadn't thought one lick about his future future so why was she so touchy about it?

Caramel pouted again before sitting back down and looking at the container of glitter slime, holding it in her hands. She didn't say anything else.

Blaze fell silent too, not sure what to say after that. Why did she care so much? He didn't get it. But he also had never considered anything for himself. There was no job he had super strong feelings about.

"I mean, you can do whatever you want, even pull pranks! I just felt like by now...I would've done more," She admitted in a low voice, probably the most serious she had ever been.

"More like what though?" he asked, sounding a little lost. "We're only seventeen. There's not much in life to be done yet." He had no idea what the guideline was for that but he was sure most people weren't expected to have done that much.

"I'm almost eighty though," Caramel said. "I always worried this relationship wouldn't work out," She tilted the container and watched some of the slime slide around.

"What?" Blaze asked, his head whipping up when he heard her say that. Did she not think they were working out? But they didn't have any problems, did they? At least....not until today.

"You're going to live to be so old! And I'm just not!" She said. "It'd be cute to have a vampire and fairy together and I thought we'd have a cute vampire-fairy baby but maybe......I'm starting to grow up a bit," Caramel tilted the container again. "I'm turning into my sister!"

Blaze practically choked. "A baby?" He asked. She'd even been thinking that far into the future? But he couldn't even have kids unless she changed. He couldn't even figure out what she meant by the rest of it because he was so shaken by the idea of a baby

Caramel pouted, already feeling her tears starting to come. She didn't hate Blaze and would never hate him, could never hate him, but why didn't he properly understand how much this meant to her? "Fine! I'm breaking up with you!" She finally yelled.
