Colleen, for you I pick
, because it's been on my TBR list forever, and
because it not only sounded really interesting, it'll also (I assume) finish up the trilogy for you. Hope you end up liking them. ^_^

Jenn wrote: "I pick for

[bookcover:Shifter Plane..."Thank you very much! Amazing picks :)
Elizabeth, I'm picking for you without a doubt
as my first choice, because it is an amazing book, first in an amazing series and from an amazing author (say amazing one more time!).My second pick is definitely cover based, I confess, and it's
.Have fun with one or both of these in September! Happy readings!

Jayme wrote: "Hi Louise,I pick for you

Enjoy!"
Thanks Jayme, I've earmarked the first for a team challenge so that should motivate me to actually get it read. Hopefully I'll finally manage to get the 2nd in too.
Hey Trea, there are still a few of us who have not had our books chosen for us yet... any word on where the selectors are?????
Kay (Brigidsmomma) wrote: "Hey Trea, there are still a few of us who have not had our books chosen for us yet... any word on where the selectors are?????"No word, Kay, and I'm sorry. I have been obsessively checking to see if I missed their posts. Technically, they have until 9:30 am EST tomorrow to come in and pick for their partners, before I put them on the no show list and assign re-picks. Hopefully, the missing folks will see this and do picks.

I'll help with choosing if some people don't do it.

Kay (Brigidsmomma) wrote: "I can help too, especially since I'm one of the ones left waiting..."Thank you for the offer! Since we have 3 volunteers already, I may not use you, since you're one of the folks without picks. I've PM'd everyone that is late, so they know that there are consequences for not showing up like this.
Karina wrote: "I'm a pick-less one too, but please do let me know if there's anything I can do to help. :)"Will do!
Karina,I'm picking
and
for you. I tried to mix up the genres a bit so you'll have some variety. They both sound great, and they'll be going on my own to-be-read shelf shortly. Be sure to let me know if they're as fascinating as the synopsis makes them sound.

Thanks! I'm excited to get started! I'll let you know what I thought when I'm finished.
Jo wrote: "Karina,I'm picking

for you. Thank you! I sort of accidentally read the foreword to one of those last night and fell into the first chapter, so that's excellent. :3
Trea, I'm happy to help with the picks that are still outstanding as well if you still need volunteers?
Nina wrote: "Trea, I'm happy to help with the picks that are still outstanding as well if you still need volunteers?"Thanks, Nina, but I think we're good. One person has responded and left picks for their partner, so that leaves only 3 folks without picks. I'll be posting re-picks in a couple of hours, just to allow the missing participants a fair shot at avoiding the Naughty No-Show List.

You're welcome, Kay! I would like to apologize to each of you for your partners not picking for you...I know you each have been patiently waiting for picks and I thank you for that patience!
TheoI pick for you
and
.I selected Courage Has No Color: The True Story of the Triple Nickles, America's First Black Paratroopers because my favorite type of reads are non-fiction history and I tend to gravitate to WWII books.
Based off your other options you seem to like dystopian type reads, so I selected one in the event you were feeling the non-fiction book.

No stress here - just read what you want, and if you don't finish there's always next month! I chose two for you that I think will be cozy or at least easy reads."
Woohoo! Finally the kick in the pants I need to finish Ragnarok (I started it back when it came out over a year ago, but only got about 20% in because 500+ page books are my attention span's mortal enemy). Isn't Amy's grandma so great? And that romance novel will hopefully be a quick and easy read. ^_^ Thanks for the picks.
