Review: This series keeps getting better! I really enjoyed the interaction between Perry and Dex in this one! It was the first of the series that actually creeped me out a bit too (maybe it was because I've spent the week visiting family in an area that is pretty desolated, lots of trees around in the woods, and I was reading mostly at night!) There was a part of the book where some deer appeared in the middle of the night, and just as I'm reading that part I look outside and there's deer right by the window! Have to admit I got a bit startled! I am so ready to read the next book in the series now and hope that next week or the week after puts us into #4!!!

Review:
This was the end of the series and while a good mystery book, I was a little disappointed. I'm a romance girl at heart and I wanted our MC to have at least an HFN if not an HEA but we didn't get that. That's not to say Izzy wasn't in a good place at the end of the series - she was. She absolutely was. She was finally comfortable in her own skin and in her place in the world. But I think learning how to sustain a romantic relationship, or at least the opportunity for her to do so, would have been even more evidence of her overall growth. Ah well, still a great series and this book did otherwise tie up and end the series nicely.

I really didn't like this book at first. It was dreary, starting out with a funeral, and talking about the deaths of Layla's parents and grandparents.
Once we settled into normal life, the book really picked up and I enjoyed it.

Review:
This is the 4th in this light hearted mystery series. I enjoyed this installment of this series where Heather finds herself not only babysitting her students during summer break but also 50 teenage girls who are taking part in a reality Rock-off as well as her ex's wife, who is being stalked. As well as the usual story elements there is also some more sensitive issues dealt with in this book, which is done very tastefully. All-in-all a good book.

I just got the first book in the princess diaries series, by the same author. I loved the movies, so lets hope the books don't ruin the movies for me.
We're looking good to finish on time or early. Back to school is kicking my butt, though. I'm not going as fast as usual with my reading, but I'm making progress.

Review: I listened to the audio book on this one; while the story was kind of interesting to me, the narration of the book really threw me off. It felt like it was written in a poetry-form and was a bit off-putting listening to the narrator. I enjoyed the story, and the characters were good...but the narration was just odd to me. I'm not sure if I were reading if it would have been a better read or not. As far as new-to-me author aspect, I may consider reading another book by the author. She has a few books out and they sound interesting, so my feelings on this book wouldn't necessarily put me off to her writing (just may not do audio again).

Review:
I just wanted this book to end! I found the writing and plot just far too juvenile for me, I was waiting for something to happen but nothing ever did. Maybe I am just too old for a book like this. The plot centred on friendship, Emily's friend Sloane goes missing and leaves behind a list of things Emily needs to do like 'kissing a boy' or 'going skinny dipping' it was a cute little story but definitely more for teenagers than 30 somethings.

That's just as well I've already read book 1, need to get to the rest. I enjoyed the princess diaries, I'm about half way through the series.

Review:
This was a nice soothing love story. It had the potential for some major angst but the author chose to go a more comforting route. While there was still tension about things being left unsaid by the H and thus found out in a bad way by the h, when the inevitable happened, rather than being a cause for the BIG MISUNDERSTANDING, we actually get to see the strength of the relationship the couple built hold up and the h have faith in the feelings they had for each other. I'm glad to have read it and look forward to the next in the series.

Review: This book felt very "Lifetime Original Movie" to me. I felt as if I'd seen the movie of it already (but more in the form of psycho roommate, rather than pyscho long-lost-given-up-for-adoption-at-birth sister. The story tells us of Alex, who has just lost her parents in a car accident. She finds out shortly after that her mother had given up a child for adoption at a young age. Upon finding she had a sister, Alex goes in search of the sister, and amazing finds her with little effort. Things were just too easy for my liking...it's not that easy to find a sibling after a closed adoption in most cases. then, once she finds the sister, of course there's drama that ensues, and she wishes probably wishes she never knew! The whole book just felt very....overly dramatized to me, and felt like a story I'd seen in different variations too often.

I related to Brie way too much. I knew how she was feeling. Even though this was written from both main characters's point of view, I knew exactly how she was feeling.
I really enjoyed the read and it went quickly once I got into the book.

I'll be posting as soon as I can.

How Fits: 2 People on Cover
Review:
I had high hopes for this one as the author was Gena Showalter but I was somewhat disappointed. The plot itself was good but it was so repetitive, by 65% they had given a relationship a go for him to walk away three times.....I was just like enough already!!
I will probably carry on with the series as I did enjoy the book but I won't be rushing.

I really enjoyed this next installment in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I now see the draw of these books, this one focuses on Rhage and the battle he has to stay in control of his curse, this is made even more difficult by the arrival of Mary. His love for Mary bring out the beast in him, which only she can rame. We also find out a bit more about the lesser's and the ongoing battle between the two races. I will definitely be reading the next in the series.

Review: i will start out by saying I HATE CLIFFHANGERS!!! That made me dock a bit of my rating on this book! I liked the book, and kept waiting for the "who dunnit" aspect to be revealed, but as i got to about 90% and we didn't know anything more than we did at the beginning, I knew we'd be left with a cliffhanger. Uggghhhh!!!! It worked, though, because i went and got book #2!!!

Review:
I was not really expecting the paranormal twist for this series. I'm not complaining just was a bit surprised. But reading the blurbs, I think it must be limited to this and the next book. I enjoyed reading this. I like the little bit of paranormal - I like the idea of telepathy and being able to forge a deeper emotional bond because of it. I really liked getting to know Nathan and Joe as they've only had cameo appearances until now.

Review
I am not sure how I feel about this book, there were bits I loved and other bits I just found really pointless int he story.
It is one of those books that I have read so much hype about and has been on my TBR list for so long I feel slightly underwhelmed now that I have finished it.
It started off really well and the chemistry between Andrew and Cam was off the charts, but them the middle part of the book just seemed to stretch out forever. I must admit that the author reduced me to tears towards the end. I see there is a book two in the series I am not sure I am that interested in finding out what happens next.

I am nervous about rereading this one this month as a BOTM....I read it several years ago and loved it (gave it 5*) but now that I'm considering re-reading it, I hesitate because I don't want to NOT love it as much as I remember! And I haven't yet read #2 either...partly I think because I was brought to tears at the end of #1 and just can't see how #2 can be better!

Review:
This is the third in the New Breeds Series and follows the story of Troy and Eve. Troy is a New Breed who has loved Eve for years however she is Human and as such is off - limits. The twists and turns in the story follow the highs and lows of their story. This is a series that keeps you wanting more.
