Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 2179 comments I have my picks and am fine; but, I'm also really having trouble with some of the differences between aqua green and teal green.

Based on this thread, it looks to me like what's considered teal green is darker than aqua green so that maybe the lighter or more "pastel" green-blues won't count unless a lot of darker shading/shadows? That if we were in school mixing paints or a department store having colors done that adding some black or gray to the aqua green would gain us teal green?

Natalie | 549 comments Can I get a ruling on:
The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1) by Rick Riordan Storm's Heart (Elder Races, #2) by Thea Harrison

message 254: by AH (new)

AH | 2271 comments I would say it's green. I had the hardcover and it is green and teal.

message 255: by Sandra, Kindle Operator Licence Required (new)

Sandra | 25912 comments Natalie, both are good, if you use The Lost Hero (The Heroes of Olympus, #1) by Rick Riordan instead.

Danielle, thats fine.

Sandra | 25912 comments Aqua vs Teal

descriptiondescription

Of course, there are lots of shades in between and what's printed on books sometimes doesn't come across on the computer.

Sandra | 25912 comments To me aqua has more blue and teal more green.

message 262: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32724 comments I'll accept that, Nichole. The view is definitely green & teal.

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9662 comments Looking at the covers of the previous posts... Shield of Winter (Psy-Changeling, #13) by Nalini Singh was approved for Heather. Does Shadowflame (Shadow World, #2) by Dianne Sylvan or Dash of Peril (Love Undercover, #4) by Lori Foster qualify?

message 266: by Steph, Serious series addict (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 32724 comments I think both work, Val. Shadowflame has quite a bit of green and Dash has teal in the background.
