I cannot wait to go home tonight though! Work was busy so I barely got anything read at all today :-(
Tonight is reading time though! Nothing else on the menu for a change - well except for some laundry, but it's not like I have to sit next to the machine and watch it all go round and round and round.

I mean if I cam across a werewolf in the woods eating children, I think I would run, or kill it...not think about how hot he was, and how that blood on his mouth, and skin stuck in his teeth, enhances that beautiful blue eyes of his...oh, and of course his six pack! Cannot have a werewolf with a beer gut...
Sounds good, Karen! :-)
And lol, so true, Abbie! Couldn't have a werewolf with a beer gut! That would totally distract from the piece of bone which he's using to pick his teeth with ;-)

Gotta hate it when that happens. So inconsiderate of work to get in the way of reading!
Small counts, too! Every page read counts :-)

Yay Jessica! We'll get both our book points for that one. Woo-Hoo!Im having the same kind of week ST - starting yesterday anyway. Grr... Everyone just needs to step back and let me listen to my audios while I work. And all technology should work as it is supposed to. Those two simple rules would make me a lot happier if they would only be followed.
*shakes head* Still can't believe that book is tagged as a classic.... ;-)
Eurgh, yes. Thank goodness it's almost the weekend!!

It's been tagged by 199 people!!! As classic!!
And it's not even as though the author is dead or the book is a few years older...
Weird...
Then again, HP is tagged as a classic.

Ok, home at last, but another early morning tomorrow :(Finished
(love this series and can't wait for the next one) Going to start
(audio) fir YA and going to search my books for my next kindle read...not sure what mood I'm in ;)
A classic is a book accepted as being exemplary or noteworthy, for example through an imprimatur such as being listed in a list of great books, or through a reader's personal opinion.(Definition)
Finished Night Broken for paranormal and Bounty for romance today. Just starting Dance Upon the Air for contemporary
After that, I'm going to take Jessica's suggestion and downloaded Salt to the Sea to read for historical.
Just checked the countdown and see we have 1 Day and 19 Hours... yowza
How did you like Bounty, K? Planning to read it in a BR in July. BTW, I really enjoyed Dance Upon The Air.
I like Kristen Ashley books! Granted, I usually pace myself more... But it definitely delivered what I love about her books... the angst.. the warm fuzzies of good friends... good chemistry and some suspense! The audio was 21 hours so I thought it would take me a couple of days to read but her books always move so quickly you hardly notice the bulk. I'm really enjoying Dance Upon the Air so far!

Well I guess that makes sense! Though I have a tendency to think more like V, in considering the older books classics - the ones you study in Literature courses and the like - I really should know better hehe.

Because we haven't had one in a while, and because Olympics rules will be out soon and because it's the weekend sooooon!

I can't do too many of her in a row but I always want more after not too long away. And I totally agree about loving what she delivers... good friends, community, angst but also how she puts them together together before the end of the book. They may not always be 'happily' together or still working through issues but we get to experience them as a couple (usually) well before the last chapter. My favorite romances are the ones where we get to experience the MCs together for a large portion of the book. The ones where BIG MISUNDERSTANDINGs or just stupid pride keep them apart until almost the end usually just make me mad. Anyhoo... yeah, totally with you on KA!
I'm about half way through a historical and should have it finished tonight. Then I'm going to try and read another Fantasy in time tomorrow.
You rock, ladies!
I'm currently trying to sneak-read my mystery/crime novel - totally sick psycho in this (as per usual for Chris Carter) and I'm really enjoying the end-spurt now.

The information and rules are being posted now.
Please, please, please, read the information carefully. If you are unsure, please read them again. Don't stress over the amount there will be. Just take your time to take it all in.
Once you're sure you've digested it all and you still have questions, feel free to ask V Audio Nerd, K-Terror and myself.
And then... then, my dear team mates, it is time to plan! :-)

Looks like we need to plan this at the moment:Title Relay Heats:
Heat 1:
leg 1: Title Relay of THREE books
leg 2: Title Relay of FIVE books
leg 3: Title Relay of SEVEN books
Heat 2:
leg 1: Title Relay of THREE books
leg 2: Title Relay of FIVE books
leg 3: Title Relay of SEVEN books
Each of us need to read at least one book for this round.
How should we start planning?
We've been playing with a SS so we can all list down books that we are planning or could read so that we can try and link them together.I think E will link it to the Olympic post on the first page but I can put it here as well.
If we can try and list even some books that we have, we can start to link them together.
Okay. That seems insane but fun.I'll list what's on my schedule because I've been slacking big time.
&
I'm open to anything else really.
D9 - HIT - Read a book shelved as young adult by at least 10 people, reading one of my favorite YA books
Event 1 needs to be planned - otherwise we are never going to end up with titles that work together.
Besides Heat 1 of the Title Relay needs to be completed before we can move on to anything else within the Olympics challenge.
Once Heat 1 (i.e. leg 1, leg 2 and leg 3) are completed, we can start working on everything else in Olympics. But this needs to be done first!
So I'd suggest using fairly small books (page counts don't matter for this part of the challenge) and getting the faster readers onto Heat 1. We need a minimum of 7 readers for Heat 1.
Heat 2 can be finished whenever over the course of this three week challenge.
