Event 4: Fight Club
(Thanks to Tea, and Karsyn's Hubby, for the inspiration behind this event.)

Work as a team to send in your best fighters (readers) to go toe to toe with another team. Using "Reading Sprints", members will be pitted against each other in a knock out fight (read-off), to see who comes out victorious.

NOTE: Sprints will NOT be public nor at the same times. Sprints are done when the fighter (reader) wants, and all times read and page counts read are sent to the Mod Account. This is to keep things a fair fight (read-off)! Readers should NOT post their reading times in their team threads!

But a fighter (reader) is only as good as their coach. Each round the fighter (reader) can have up to TWO coaches cheering them on! To Cheer, coaches must read (finish) a fighting related book (more details in Rules for Coaches). Can your team come survive 6 rounds and come out as champion?

To mark Fight Club as √ COMPLETE:
--- Team must finish all 6 Rounds per rules to mark this event √ COMPLETE
To move on to NEXT Olympic Event:
--- Once Event 2 has begun, all Events are open to work on!

Round 1: 1 hour sprint
Round 2: 2 hour sprint
Round 3: 3 hour sprint

Round 6: 6 hour sprint (2 books may be used if a book is completed during sprint)

Rules for Coaches

▲ Coaches may cheer (read a book) the fighter on at any time.
▲ Coach(es) do not have to read at the same time and are SUPPLEMENTAL BOOKS, not required for round. However, coaches books only count after a completed round.
▲ Coaches may only cheer (read) 1 book per round, but there may be 2 coaches per round.
▲ Completed Coaches books may only be counted if a round is successfully completed.
▲ A fighter may become a coach at any time, but may not coach themselves. :)
▲ Coaches must read a book that features: Wrestling, Boxing and/or MMA in any format (professional, underground, cages fights, ect....)
If the style of fight within the book is Wrestling, Boxing, or MMA (including any disciplines listed here) it is accepted. Any other disciplines are not. Fight must be pivotal to story (the MC must be a fighter, go regularly to see fights, ect). If one random fight happens in the story, it does not count.
▲ There are no Bonus Rounds of this event.

All Fight Club (sprint) info has been copied into your spreadsheets. To see all the info you can view this spreadsheet

Note:
It was time consuming and we may have gotten a little lazy, so don't freak out if you see "provided" or "to be entered". It just means we didn't think it was of vital importance to enter that info, or for the latter, to chase down the message in the mod account to confirm the player's name, for example
