Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs

Excellent! How did it compare to Mercy? I'm so curious ^^

Two for one, I like it! ;) I'm going to put you down for Iron right now, noting that we can move it if need be.

No one knows how the TA shelf works - it's bonus. Bonus is bonus. Bonus is accepted, not expected. Get away from the bonus horse's mouth, do not look within. ;)

It seems really interesting and fun. I love retellings of Jane Austen, so I could do that book as well this week. Let me know and I can ..."
Lory, this looks great! In for Pemberly you go :)

Bold goals are unclaimed goals.

FIFTEEN - 60 points: (we need these bolded goals)
15E ◈ Read a book with a title (Mr., Ms, Lord, etc.) in the title - Tammie
SIXTEEN - 60 points: (we need these bolded goals)
16C ◈ Read a book with a musical instrument on the cover
16D ◈ Read a book where the series and title combined contain all letters in Pemberley - Ray
16E ◈ Read a book with a title (Mr., Ms, Lord, etc.) in the title - Caly
SEVENTEEN - 65 points: (we need these bolded goals)
17B ◈ Read a book with Ghost(s) in the title - Bethany
17D ◈ Read a book with Iron in the title - Lory
17E ◈ Read a book with Lead in the title - Ray
EIGHTEEN - 40 points: (we need these bolded goals)
18A ◈ Read a book with a horse on the cover
18B ◈ Read a book tagged as western - Bethany
18C ◈ Read a book with rope on the cover
18D ◈ Read a book that features a cowboy
Tammie - a book that is good for any of these (yea!)

Two "freebie" bonuses that we can use on anything except temporary extra (bonus) task. Five bonuses are left over from Omni/Milton.

It is confusing! Feel free to leave it to the captains, we have everything organized in the staff room and know what's going on :)

Thanks for the heads up! Sounds good :)

I'm pretty sure that's fine.

I'll check if we can sub in a TA book for this, and grab a new bonus. BRB
BONUS LABOR 18

◈ Find the horses: Read a book with a horse on the cover
◈ Chase the horses: Read a book tagged as western
◈ Rope the horses: Read a book with rope on the cover

Indeed, Mister Spock.

18a: Black Beauty (TA shelf)
18c:

18d: Has anyone read the Anne of Green Gables books? Any cowboys? There are 3 (#1-3) on the TA shelf.
I'm not finding any westerns yet.

Uhhh... I don't know if I have any of those. I think I can find a fantasy book with a horse on it that strikes my fancy. Can I claim that?
Nevermind, if there's TA books available let's figure those out first, especially since I don't have a concrete idea of what I would read.

Maybe I can cheat a little and find something western steampunk fusion or something, since you haven't found one for b yet.

Nope. Quaint little island/farm, rather than wild west. They are set at Prince Edward Island, Canada

My best option so far is a book from the dark tower series. I'll head to bed, and if no one else has any desire to read a western or a cowboy book tomorrow I'll see if I can grab that.
I'm open to suggestions otherwise! I may just re-read Alloy of Law, because I liked that and it's been over 6 months since I read it...

That's the book that was on the TA shelf haha. :)

For some reason the Add book link can not find this book 8-(
But it will work for 15E or 16E
Off to read if I am to finish both books this week. Have a great day all!

o.O"
I read those sometimes! I'll have to look and see if my library has anything interesting available. No promises, though ;)

Yay!

I've been prepping for my first stint at DM-ing (being the Dungeon Master, aka Game Master) for a D&D game and I've been studying the rules all day, eep! Also, my guy has tomorrow off so I might not get much reading then either. He rarely gets 2 days off in a row, so we make 'big' plans when he does. This week's big plans are to rearrange the game room and the library.
