Excellent! How did it compare to Mercy? I'm so curious ^^
Bethany wrote: "I'm going to read The Iron Duke, which has both Iron and a title, so can I claim one of those?"Two for one, I like it! ;) I'm going to put you down for Iron right now, noting that we can move it if need be.

Get away from the bonus horse's mouth, do not look within. ;)

Lory wrote: "How many bonuses do we have left?"Two "freebie" bonuses that we can use on anything except temporary extra (bonus) task. Five bonuses are left over from Omni/Milton.
Ray (user2637) wrote: "Not sure what you mean by this... "bonus" gets used a lot, haha."It is confusing! Feel free to leave it to the captains, we have everything organized in the staff room and know what's going on :)
Lory wrote: "Gotcha, I wasn't sure if we had a set number of bonuses. If Bethany is almost done, I would recommend using the TA book for purple. It will take me at least a few days to read it and I'm not loving..."Thanks for the heads up! Sounds good :)
FYI 16B didn't get updated in the goals post. :)Kazen wrote: "Pragya wrote: "Has anyone claimed 16b? I'm almost done with a reread of

has ropes all over the ship (TA shelf)18d: Has anyone read the Anne of Green Gables books? Any cowboys? There are 3 (#1-3) on the TA shelf.
I'm not finding any westerns yet.

*stares at TBR*Uhhh... I don't know if I have any of those. I think I can find a fantasy book with a horse on it that strikes my fancy. Can I claim that?
Nevermind, if there's TA books available let's figure those out first, especially since I don't have a concrete idea of what I would read.
Right!? I don't know anyone who reads westerns! Not irl or online, haha. Bethany wrote: "*stares at TBR*

Maybe I can cheat a little and find something western steampunk fusion or something, since you haven't found one for b yet.

Nope. Quaint little island/farm, rather than wild west. They are set at Prince Edward Island, Canada
Pretty sure there isn't a western TA book. There was one but we used it long ago. Bethany wrote: "Maybe I can cheat a little and find something western steampunk fusion or something, since you haven't found one for b yet."
Well phooey. Don't think there's a cowboy TA book either.Rose wrote: "Nope. Quaint little island/farm, rather than wild west. They are set at Prince Edward Island, Canada"

My best option so far is a book from the dark tower series. I'll head to bed, and if no one else has any desire to read a western or a cowboy book tomorrow I'll see if I can grab that.
I'm open to suggestions otherwise! I may just re-read Alloy of Law, because I liked that and it's been over 6 months since I read it...
Actually, I call westerns with Rebel of the Sands. Western just barely makes it onto the genre page.
Bethany wrote: "Actually, I call westerns with Rebel of the Sands. Western just barely makes it onto the genre page."That's the book that was on the TA shelf haha. :)
My current book is going well and I should finish by tomorrow. After that I will read href= https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/30233697-the-shadow-of-a-kingFor some reason the Add book link can not find this book 8-(
But it will work for 15E or 16E
Off to read if I am to finish both books this week. Have a great day all!
Ray (user2637) wrote: "However, there is a shocking number of cowboy romance novels.o.O"
I read those sometimes! I'll have to look and see if my library has anything interesting available. No promises, though ;)

Yea! Thanks :)
I started re-reading
for absolutely no reason lol except I really needed something funny to cheer me up. It doesn't fit in any of the current bonuses :/
A Real Cowboy Never Says NoI have this one on my kindle:
meets all 4 criteria for bonus 18...put me down for whatever...

We don't have an instrument on cover book in the works, right? Trying to build up my nook's stores for my trip over the next few days. Lots of reading time!
Dang! We are knocking them back today! I think we've wrapped up another whole labor. :D :D I've been prepping for my first stint at DM-ing (being the Dungeon Master, aka Game Master) for a D&D game and I've been studying the rules all day, eep! Also, my guy has tomorrow off so I might not get much reading then either. He rarely gets 2 days off in a row, so we make 'big' plans when he does. This week's big plans are to rearrange the game room and the library.
