Hahahahaha NOPE
Ha, but not all. We would need #6, #11, #12. Although I would say we should invest in this over the trilogy completion, because points!Except we have no time!

Well, if we wanted to do that. 3 books in a day, tricky. I just started the Beka Cooper one. I probably would only get 1 book done. I could fine a book in a series, if we wanted to try it. 2 other volunteers?

Bold goals are unclaimed goals.

Rose wrote: "I'm checking TA shelf now. We have quite a few of those covered. BRB"
I think I could probably do one more book after my current read and found a #12:
Cowboy Casanova
It's a little long but I think I may be able to squeeze it in.
eta: Also, an excuse to stay in and read? Yes please :D
I have Mr. Monk books for 6, 11, and 12. I'm fine reading them out of order. Shall I start #6 or #11?2 days, 8 hours left in Labors. :)

Whoa, that was hard for me. But so good."
I'm glad it was good! I'm the last link in that chain - time to get crackin'! I did manage to read 35% of my book before even getting out of bed, though, so that bodes well. :)
I can do Mary Mary which is #11 for alex cross. I can probably only finish one book. I don't care which. Should I do this one as it will give us more points?
Lory wrote: "I can do Mary Mary which is #11 for alex cross. I can probably only finish one book. I don't care which. Should I do this one as it will give us more points?"Instead of the trilogy? Yes please :)
PS - I'm sorry I slip and misspell your name sometimes! I always kick myself when I see it. I used to work with a Lori and it's still ingrained in my brain @_@

If you're good with #6 we have this one settled! :D

In this case I can read The Amber Spyglass... unless 1 and 2 of that series are committed to the new labour.
I think I saw fifty shades on the TA books. I could give one of those a shot for the trilogy? Is that a trilogy?
#6 it is! That's the one where Mr. Monk Goes to Germany, so it sounds the best anyway since I studied German for awhile. Ich werde schnell lesen. ;)
Ray (user2637) wrote: "PS Don't forgot to plug in Karin's banked #5 book instead of a TA book. :)"Already did on the sheet, the goal post says TA for simplicity :)
Amber spyglass is only 400 pages, which is easy compared to the 500-1000 I would have read for Mastiff+bloodhound. We are doing so well with our teamwork and TA prowess!
I have to admit I'm a bit lost on how the trilogy is being done - if someone could quickly outline who's doing what I would appreciate it :)
Bonus Labor 24:female main characters that fight or use weapon - Travel Agent - Any Kate Daniels (based on swords on covers)
with a Red Cover - Travel Agent - court of swords and roses
takes place on a Farm - Travel Agent - anne of avonlea
trilogy. (Book 1) - Travel Agent - northern lights
trilogy. (Book 2) - Travel Agent - subtle knife
trilogy. (Book 3) - Bethany - amber spyglass
:D
Thank you so much, Ray!Ray (user2637) wrote: "BTW, did we use up all 3 use-or-lose Labor-only boosts?"
One left. Thought it may come in handy to 'fill a task with any book' just in case someone doesn't finish in time. Like me ;)
That's exactly what I was thinking!Kazen wrote: "One left. Thought it may come in handy to 'fill a task with any book' just in case someone doesn't finish in time. Like me ;) "
I'll probably finish two books on my travel back, so I'll try to inquire as to everyone's status after finishing The Amber Spyglass and see if I can provide backup for any tasks.
20% done on #11 in a series. Had to stop because it is super creepy and it's bedtime. I'll definitely finish tomorrow, though! Yay points :-)

I am fortunate to have dedicated reading time. :)
Rose wrote: "Sorry. I was lazy and didn't write the title. That actually was Memoirs of a Geisha. I liked it (way more than the movie), although I thought it could have been shorter. Grah, this book. One star. We finish a bonus and I got a ranty review out of it, so it wasn't a total loss ;)

Bookules is growing weary of restoring the library. He thought he would take a break and try a few puzzles but a few are stumping him. Are you any good at popular culture?
Treat each puzzle as separate. Must PM the mod account with answers. Please don't post in team thread so not to make it too easy for other teams to "borrow" your answers!

We are so rocking it though..."We are leaving Sunday for New Mexico. Visiting Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Neither of us has been to the South West and we are going for a whole week! Our first 'real vacation' since we got married 3 years ago (Our Anniversary is Oct 4th). I am so excited. However just to let everyone know, I probably wont be able to read more than 1 (maybe 2 short) books next week. I will have airport and plane time but once we get there I plan on focusing on sightseeing and my wife *grin. The good thing is it will only be the start of the last challenge so I will have plenty of time to help when I return.
Oh wow, that sounds wonderful Caly! Right around this time last year I was driving on Route 66 in Arizona with my husband on our own (much delayed) honeymoon. It was also my first time in the Southwest - it's pretty amazing :)Enjoy the sightseeing and your wife, no worries about the books with that scenery around you! If you can do keep an eye out for the next event's rules so you can be aware of any required reads. Otherwise - enjoy! :D
Never mind looks like that is covered as well. I'm headed to beach...have time to read...so if something is needed...could you let me know what it is please...thanks :)

I am a very "read for 4 hours without breaks" reader. And I read roughly 100 pages per hour. ;)
