Yeah, it's confusing - free book as in "not being used book" that can be put anywhere :)

Hermes has informed Bookules that Romance is having trouble locating one of its most popular editions. So come on Lone Star, gather up those puns, it's time to Cut & Run.

◈ Read a book with two authors
◈ Read a book where the main character is an FBI agent
◈ Read a book with a ampersand on the cover
◈ Read a book where a main character is current or ex-military
◈ Read a book where a main character is widowed

Kazen A banked book works for 35 - main character that is widowed! From The Lie:

"Brigs McGregor is crawling out from the ashes. After losing his wife and son in a car accident..."

One down :)

Thunderhead by Douglas Preston by Preston Douglas and Lincoln Child.
It has 2 authors so I claim 35A Please 8-)

message 5112: by Kazen (new)

Kazen We have entered the time slip, wooo!

Time to use two of our three freebie bonuses - one to replace one of the awful title relays, and another to pull an extra task (outside of the limit). Because we've finished the main labors we've also earned the right to have six bonuses open... so three new tasks incoming! :D

You entered a time warp. Woah Deja Vu.

BONUS LABOR 39

You’ve spent a long day chasing down monsters and now it’s finally time for bed. You make the long trip home, eager for your rest, but when you open the door you find…nothing. Everything-your furniture, your food, your bed- has been stolen by thieves. You spare a moment to wish you had thought to nail your bed to the floor, and then go in search of the filthy little sneaks.

◈ Read a book with a main character who is a thief.

38a - Clean Sweep or Magic Strikes
38b - The Little Stranger
