44DI have found a book that has 'gangs of thieves'...plural 'thieves'...is this ok?
I went through every other team spreadsheet and found only 3 other teams who got the "gang of thieves" task. They used these books: Slightly Shady (321 pgs), To Love A Thief (124 pgs). And we previously used: Life After Life (544 pgs).To Love A Thief isn't really my kind of book, but I can manage 124 pgs if no one else finds the phrase. Let me know!

A 5star book for me and so cool to read a book that takes place in the part of the country you are visiting. I saw things they actually refer to which was so awesome.
I wont commit to anything else, there is too little time left, so i will wait to see what we need for the next challenge and pick one then. Lots of reading time going home

I vote we don't try 45, and don't make too terribly much effort for 46. We can check bank and TA, but these labors look like signs we should have a mental rest.

Ah, well slow in comparsion to other's completion of tasks in the same bonus, anyway.
So I'm in the midst of a bunch of books that don't seem to work for anything, so I may just save a chapter or so to make sure I finish them all during emerge, which will give us a strong start. Is that okay to do?
I love it when that happens in books! I just read Mr. Monk on the Road and their road trip goes from San Francisco through Santa Cruz (stopping at the Mystery Spot which is very near me!) and down the coast hitting San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, crossing to the Grand Canyon and through Las Vegas. aka ALL the places I've been! I'm down for a rest. Looks like #44 still has some reading going on, and still 1 spot to be claimed? The undertaker/funeral home worker spot? Not sure what's left or if we are going to finish Bonus 45, but I've completed The Humanity Project, which works for Volunteer for the Games - Read a book where someone works at a non-profit, 337 pages.
I believe Traitors Blade would count for a murder during the timeline. it's not the main plot, but it does happen.
Well, with Karin and Lory's books, plus Margaret's Memoirs of a Geisha, that knocks out 3/5 for BONUS 45. Maybe this one it doable...? But the two left were unfindable on the TA shelf last time we had this set of tasks. Oh my gosh I had a long day at the hospital - a 5 year old with an infectious disease, eep. They had the hardest time drawing blood and holy cow did she scream, the poor thing :( Very glad to be home in my quiet house with my quiet cat, ready to read quiet books. ;) I'll be catching up with the thread slowly so bear with me!

Flowers have since been ruled as okay for a party decoration so we can use that book no problem :)
