Kazen Ella - I'll totally keep the Travises series in mind! I've only read Kleypas' historicals so that looks like the perfect spot to jump into her contemporaries :)

Sugar Daddy...#1 in series... is one of my all time favorites! I've been trying to finish series a long time. I think it could work for 'growing money' if someone wanted to read.

Sugar daddy is one of my favourites too. And my fav in the series too, followed by blueeyed devil.
Thats a very good idea abt the growing money. Never thought of it like that.

Not in my book (Pun intended) I love history, though some authors do not seem to have a knack for it.

message 3717: by Lory (new)

Lory | 629 comments Just out of curiousity, do we have any banked books left? I took a look at the spreadsheet and there appears to be 3 books in reserve. Are these available for Bingo? I was procrastinating at work (I do that a lot) and was seeing if these fit based on my limited knowledge.

However, I would think we could use the Star-crossed book that Margaret read for death. As it is all about the mafia and stuff. It looks like it was eaten by a shark, but can we use it on another board? It can also be used for Sports. It is listed as that on the main page.

Then your book Kazen, couldn't that be used for the growing money? Since it is about the American Dream and growing money is part of the american dream. Or something to that effect.

Lastly, Tori's book could be used for death. Again, only limited knowledge here, but her old life is dead. She needs to adapt to her new life. Or something to that effect.

I am hoping I can power through my book and read another shorter one this week. OK, I should probably try to get some work done. 4-day weeks are difficult to start sometimes (but always amazing) :)

I mean yesterday is technically history, so that's like saying people are boring. If anything the present population is more well adjusted and boring.

That's actually kind of my main issue with this book. Making several of the historical figures have pretty much modern ideals and "whitewashing" their perspectives in a period of massive destruction and brutality is pretty much taking any of the legitimacy out of this book, let alone the interest. It's like in high school history class where they describe everyone in dull little paragraphs that don't come close to conveying any sense of what they were doing/why.

Yeaaa procrastinating at work! I was a master at it when I had a desk job, hehehe. ;)

Star Crossed was nibbled on by the shark and won't be available until the next board. I love your idea for my book Hidden Figures, but I don't feel like it works - the space program cost a ton of money, and the protagonists in the book made less money than everyone else. Tori can let us know if her book works for death, great idea!

I'm hoping that we'll be able to turn over the board one more time with this simple pattern and that the remaining books can be smooshed on the last board. ~crosses her fingers and toes~
