You guys are all reading machines!! I have had busy time at work so haven't been able to get into the thread for what feels like days! So great to see the fabulous progress we are making.
Margaret wrote: "I am LOVING this series Kazen!! The books have a kick-ass female heroine, and a dark and st..."OMG I love the Fever series Margaret! I absolutely love all the characters and I know what you mean about the length. I devoured this series and got my cousin hooked on it too.hehe.
Kazen wrote: "Ella wrote: "...normally when I start a Fantasy series, I tend to binge-read them all..."Bwahaha, love the impulsive binge-read. :)

Thanks Kazen. I think i might just find myself a series next ;)
Ella wrote: "OMG I love the Fever series Margaret!"Okay, that's it. Two more people (on top of a whole bunch of my friends) that love the series - added to my elibrary wish list. :)

How did you like it? I surprisingly loved this book, and I'm currently reading the next book in the series for the challenge.
Out of curiosity, since I'm in the US. Is it still hard to get a hold of books from the US at the same time they come out here? My friend in Melbourne was always so annoyed with the publishing timeline in school, but I wondered if ebooks are availible sooner.
The Green Mile by Stephen King
Finished: June 21
592 pages
Task: A4 - Read a book shelved as science fiction by at least 10 people (76 people)
Rose wrote: "Out of curiosity, since I'm in the US. Is it still hard to get a hold of books from the US at the same time they come out here? My friend in Melbourne was always so annoyed with the publishing time..."Are you referring to getting the book from a library or buying the book? From the library, sometimes you can get an ebook faster because not too many people have yet realized that you can get ebooks from the library through overdrive and I forget the name of the other one (it's not as popular). Like when Glass Sword came out I ended up with the ebook the next month. I guess it's quicker with ebooks because they're automatically returned at the end of the borrow period where as you have to wait for a person to return it and some people just don't mind the extra library fees just to finish up the book.
I mean if the dates that books are released/published are shifted. E.g. You can't get a book from your favorite U.S. author until a couple weeks after it comes out here.
I'm going to have to try out that Fever series as well! I been looking for more Fantasy books and branching out of my usual genres.
Rose wrote: "I mean if the dates that books are released/published are shifted. E.g. You can't get a book from your favorite U.S. author until a couple weeks after it comes out here."Yeah that's true for most popular authors
Kazen wrote: Way to go, Brianna! Was it as good as I remember? ;)"Yes it was awesome. I loved it way more than the movie. I loved getting know a little more about the characters than we do in the movie. I'm also glad the movie didn't spoil the book for me. Like I wasn't waiting on for certain parts to happen or expecting it to go exactly that way. I guess that's because I haven't seen the movie in so long.
I highly recommend K Monings Fever series as well. I've rated half of them 5 stars. Every book is a good one. I read a lot...took me 3 days...books are all pretty long but hardly any dragging in the story line.
Tammie wrote: "I highly recommend K Monings Fever series as well. I've rated half of them 5 stars...."Fine I'll put a hold on the first book of the series, twist my arm why don'cha. ;)
Kazen wrote: "Fine I'll put a hold on the first book of the series, twist my arm why don'cha. ;)"hahah Kazen, you crack me up :) To all those planning on reading the Fever series I definitely think u should give it a try and we (members of the KMM fandom) hope yo enjoy it as much as we have :)
I just got the latest book of one of my fav. series and I'd like to reread the first 5 books first. I read them in november, so they count right??
Ella wrote: "I just got the latest book of one of my fav. series and I'd like to reread the first 5 books first. I read them in november, so they count right??"Let's check the Rules of Wobble!
◈ "Re-reads" will be allowed, if it has been six months since you have read the book.
Sounds good to me!

Ella wrote: "okay thx kazen.. so do i need to change the dates on the book or simply following my reading timeline will be enough ?"I think you just need to change your begin and finish dates, the spreadsheet should pick up the rest (and if it doesn't we'll let you know) :D

You'll love it!
I'm going to try
. It has mixed reviews so I'm excited to read it for myself. It would also count for Sci-Fi, :)
Kazen can you ask them about restarts? I put down Red Rising a few months ago and just restarted it? I'm listening to it on audio book this time around and would love if it counted.

Just make sure your start and finish dates are for this read.
And thank you, migraine, for waking me up at 2:30am to answer this question:P

Sam wrote: "When will our next guesses be?"Instructions say tomorrow....not sure if we can do earlier...I'm hoping the great strategists on our team will make recommendations like before...that turned out well for us.

I am LOVING this series Kazen!! The books have a kick-ass female heroine, and a dark and strangely alluring male who I think is the hero, but I still haven't worked that out - and this is book 5! I have been sucked in completely since book 1.
I am so glad that I can read it as part of this challenge as the previous book ended on a cliff hanger and I desperately need to find out WTF happened!!!
Usually such a huge book would take me over a week to read, but I think I will be finishing this one in record time :)
