Ray (user2637) (hugpete) | 1521 comments I thought that might be what the purple was for. Okie doke! Just thought maybe at the last minute, it would be good for us to pair up, but you're right, there are so many that are multiple genres. :)

Now that my series is over, I feel lost and homeless :-(

Ella | 367 comments Kazen... My Healer and My Protector (on the reserves list) also goes with humor. But we didn't have humor as a genre when I read them so I didn't mention it then and I don't know if v can use it now for humor. (so just in case we can ^^ :) )

Thanks for the heads up - we can totally use it there now, yea!

I'm sorry your series is over, that's always a disappointment. Here's hoping the author comes out with the next book soon. :)

Brianna and Ray are reading for classic, so you can be spared Pride and Prejudice ;) (I've started that book several times myself and never seem to get very far!)

Kazen We are one book away from the 20 we need to fill all the hit tasks! So close!

Keep reading even if after we hit that number - each and every book will count for bonus points as long as it fits one of the genres we've been given, and these bonus points will help us move up in the rankings. Yea points!

Oh, and I've heard some rumors around the staff room... word is that the next challenge will have a lot of teamwork involved. It really makes you wonder what they're going to throw at us. In a good way, of course! :)

Yay, I'm hoping for something more interesting than battleship, here we pretty much read anything and fit it under a category, not much teamwork involved:) I still enjoyed this though!

:) Yup I'm hoping it'll come out in about 3 months... (too ambitious??) fingers crossed. I'll just catch up on my never ending to-read list in the mean time.
I hope the next challenge allows me to read my netgalley books since none of those books were tagged by 10 or more ppl to qualify for this challenge.

Also I finished Hold (Hold, #1) by Zannie Adams
Hold by Zannie Adams
29th June
185 pages ( not long but we get bonus points for finishing them right? so at this point i'm just reading as many short ones as I can for the extra bonus points)
sci-fi, romance, paranormal, fantasy. ( I mainly picked it for sci-fi since I saw many slots there but happy co-incidence , it had many more tags :) )

Kazen Books for bonus! I'm in the spreadsheet and we have all the primary hits filled :) I'll be updating the goal post when I'm done, but the short version is any hit square that you haven't read for yet :)

message 681: by Kazen (last edited Jun 29, 2016 05:09PM) (new)

Kazen I entered our 20 books in the spreadsheet and we gained a whole slew of points, helping us leapfrog over four teams in the rankings! What makes this ultra amazing - we have read fewer books than anyone else but we're still beating a whole bunch of teams :D We've been hitting our stride the past week so I doubt that fewest books thing will last, though!

I have to go to the dentist (booo!) but I'll put the rest of the books in bonus slots when I get back. Keep on reading on!

OMG guys - way to go Red Pandas!! high-five

And thank you Kazen for your amazing job as our captain getting our books all sorted for the most points!! I can't access the spreadsheet here at work (it is blocked!!) but will check and see our standings when I get home.

I am almost finished with To Tame A Highland Warrior ~ it is such a beautiful story of love and courage and honor ~ I highly recommend it for those historical "Scottish" romance lovers out there, (and it has a touch of fantasy too). I don't want the story to end... but will finish it in time to count as a bonus for battleships.

Blocking the spreadsheet is so mean! I can tell you the standings though - filling all the hits brought us from 22nd place up to 18th, and adding the bonus books has us up at 16th :)
