Let's call these chains listed in the spreadsheet final - go ahead and read at Olympic start (in a little over an hour! Woah!) No, you don't have to wait for Heat 1 to be over :)
If by some chance a Heat 2 chain reads all their books before the Heat 1 chain we may swap the two, but long chains are proving hard to find so unless something comes up I think they'll be staying.
I'll be posting an update post after a little more fiddling to (hopefully!) make things clearer as the Olympics start.

The Olympics will be starting in exactly one hour, woo! With the help of Excel and some awesome teammates we've been able to figure out three entire legs of the title relay. They are...

Everyone needs to have a book in this first event. Heat One or Two, it doesn't matter, but you must have a book in here.
Via annoyances of language not lining up ~shakes a fist at the spreadsheet~ Lory, Riah, Sam, and Sydney do not have a book in the event yet. I will be listing possible chains in the next post - see if you have any books that match. If you could provide a list of books you have on hand that would be awesome, then we could match it to the (slightly massive) list of books we have already.
If you have a book or two already in chains - congrats! Go ahead and read when the event starts. If you're still bookless I'll be around for a while (minus a dinner break) so we'll figure something out.

We can add on books that begin with MAGIC, ANGELS, BURNING, and maybe even MOON with a bit of rearranging.

We can add You Own Me (Karin) and Me talk pretty one day (Ray) to make the chain of 3 to a 5 for Heat 2 if we don't find anything else.
@Annabeth how did you get Two Way Street for free? I checked on amazon, it's not free (at least not in India). I bought it for an even higher price :0

Would kiss kiss by Roald Dahl work? Not sure because it is a collection of stories rather than one. If not I will find a book with King as the first word.

So with Riah adding her book we got Chain A up to five books, huzzah! Lory, your start book is in there as well. Just Sam and Sydney to go - maybe we can make it a seven chain! :DI'll update the spreadsheet once I'm back on my computer, and tomorrow we can start planning for the next event, bwahahahaha. The remaining chains will come more easily once we know everyone has a spot claimed.

I've started my first read and it's awesome and reads fast. The best kind of challenge book! I've strayed away from romance lately... Silly me. So good.
Sorry, but since I can't open the spreadsheet, can you tell me the book we ended up for me. My guess is dead wrong...but wanted to check.

Thanks! I won't get to it until later, but glad to be prepared FYI, I also found a tin of books available that start with magic available at my library online, if that comes in useful eventually.
One more quick question, am I reading for heat 1 or 2. I just got the note that we can't start Heat 2 until Heat 1 is done.
