Book 1: Read a book set predominantly (at least 80%) in one community during one season of the year: spring, summer, fall or winter.

Winter in the Black Country: Lost Girls by Angela Marsons

Book 2: Read a book set in the same community set during a different season of the year.

Summer in the Black Country: Play Dead by Angela Marsons

In Lost Girls there is reference many times to February and how cold it is. In Play Dead, I don't think the actual month is ever told, but everyone is running around in tshirts, and it's obviously summer (lawn mowers are out, etc.).

The Black Country: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_C...

Option 3: AND THEN THERE WERE NONE
Read a novel (fiction) featuring a serial killer.

[The book linked is the version that I read, however, if you follow this link to the ebook version, it has more of a description in which the serial killer in the book, Mama's Boy - a serial killer who targets young mothers with sons - is mentioned.]
