I have some of these and enjoyed them. They are more detailed in the history of the time than the Brother Cadfael's. Sister Fidelma is an interesting character.

H.M.S. (hmsbrown) | 6 comments I’m reading Murder on Black Swan Lane by Andrea Penrose. It pairs a commoner with a nobleman to solve a gruesome murder. I’m about halfway through and so far, the characters are interesting and likeable.

It felt a bit disjointed in a way but it is YA which I don't read very often so it was an ok read.

Reading a favorite author, Armistead Maupin ,Babycakes.
