There should be no comma in the following line after Pittsburgh. If you could change it to a period that would be great.
"Even the staunchest of private detectives found not a trace of you after you left the bank in Pittsburgh, It was as if you never existed."
Hello - I did post a request for quote removal as a separate item, but it looks like this is the proper place to make such a request.

I note that there are a couple of quotes attributed to Michael Gorbachev that do not have sources for them, and appear to have been added to Goodreads for political purposes.
They are:
"The most puzzling development in politics during the last decade is the apparent determination of Western European leaders to re-create the Soviet Union in Western Europe."
and
"The EU is the old Soviet Union dressed in Western clothes."
https://www.goodreads.com/author/quot...
The theme of these supposed quotes run contrary to actual sourced quotes on the European Union (such as the article in the Irish Times referring to a Gorbachev speech in 2002 - https://www.irishtimes.com/news/gorba... - and a speech given to the European Council in 1989.
FYI, the veracity of the first quote above has already been questioned in Wikiquote and has not been countered - https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Talk:Mi... )
I propose the quotes should be removed.

Either here or as a separate thread is fine, but not both. It's confusing when the same request is posted more than once.

I just added a quote and misspelled two words:
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/9648391-all-worlds-are-whores-forever-betraying-you-and-slipping-away
it should be: "All words are whores, forever betraying you and slipping away into the darkness while your soul yearns for them."

The potato should have been left to cook on the fire! Not the farm. The perils of transcribing from an audiobook and trying to type too quickly. Let alone the lack of grammar.
Will try adding it again when I have the book in front of me.

Thank you so much.

I uploaded them for the test, and it contains the word 'test' or the name of the people.

Thank you. Please remove this as well because the name is in lower case.

Yes please delete it. Thanks!

It's fake. It's from a satirical news website and he never actually said it.

You inadvertently posted in the wrong thread

The other day I sent an email to Goodreads regarding a quote for the book "No està escrit a les estrelles" by John Green (the Catalan version of "The Fault in Our Stars"). They fixed it for me (thank you!) but now that I wanted to add a new quote, I saw that the book is no longer available on the list of possible John Green books to quote. Is there any possibility for it to appear again, so I can add new quotes?
Thank you!
PS. The book that I want to quote is the following: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/3672...
Thanks :-)

"I might have said you'll pay for this wild & reckless hour" should read "I might have said you'll pay for the wild & reckless hour".
Thank you!

I have a quote in which the source needs to be added:
“I must say that being called ma’am is a whole lot better than being called an old bitch and a crusty old cunt.”
― M.F. Hopkins
After M. F. Hopkins, A Good and Fair Trade should follow.
Thank you!

Thanks very much!

The system doesn't allow for identical quotes.
