“I want you to listen to me very carefully, Harry. You're not a bad person. You're a very good person, who bad things have happened to. Besides, the world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters. We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are.” ― J.K. Rowling
This quote is actually from `Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix`(film).

Hello, could someone please change the book name that this quote was found in? The website decided to add on two different books. Here is the quote;https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/9853...
This quote was from "The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck" by Mark Manson. It has nothing to do with the book titled "How to be Fucking Awesome" by Dan Meredith. If you could please take out that last book title that would be appreciated.
#814 I don't know that I understand. Is the quote you just listed from the movie?
What is the real quote?
I took "Edit this source here" to mean something different I think.

The quote is actually from the movie `Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix`, not from the book.
In the book `Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix`, there exists only:
"The world isn’t split into good people and Death Eaters".
That's why I am requesting to edit the quote's source here:
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/8400...
(Cuz, the quote is not from 'Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban')
TIA
Found a few Oscar Wilde quotes that need editing:https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/9920...
Should be "Hearts are made to be broken". The quote is from De Profundis, Loc. 230
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/317-...
Please add the book, it's from De Profundis, Loc. 332
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/6638...
Should be "With freedom, flowers, books, and the moon, who could not be perfectly happy?" (Wrong word order). Please also add that the quote is also from De Profundis, Loc. 524
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/3067...
Should be "To lose one parent, Mr. Worthing, may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness."
Please also add that it is from The Importance of Being Earnest
Found a few Karl Marx quotes that are highly suspect (Batman for example did not exist while Marx was alive). Please delete. https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/1174...

Could somebody please move this quote https://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes... and this quote

to this book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... ?
I accidentally chose the wrong book by the author from the available options.
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7381...Please delete this quote. It has been wrongly attributed to Plath many years ago. It comes from the, now deactivated, tumblr “incorrect Sylvia Plath quotes” and has been labeled Plath ever since and shared numerous times. It still doesn't make it Plath though. Checked all of her available works and asked some of her scholars. It’s definitely not hers.
Thank you’

This quote, which is everywhere on the Internet, has been wrongly attributed to Albert Camus: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7668...He did say the one line about invincible summer, but here is the correct version, translated from the French: "O light! This is the cry of all the characters of ancient drama brought face to face with their fate. This last resort was ours, too, and I knew it now. In the middle of winter I at last discovered that there was in me an invincible summer.” ~ From his lyrical essay "Return to Tipasa", in the 1954 book "Summer". The rest of the quote has nothing to do with him.
Can you delete this quote? https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/8035...It was in the galley but did not make it into the final edition of the book.

I wonder could you adjust my quote to: Zato umesto sistema teorija, uvodimo teorije sistema, umesto umetnosti sistema, uvodimo sisteme umetnosti. And:
U trenutku postmodernizma savremenost nije sistem citat.
And into:
Thanks.
Can someone please add an "a" to the end of the word "Tess" towards the end of this quote?https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/9906...

Quotes that do not meet Goodreads guidelines may be removed at any time, and will be as Goodreads Librarians find them.
Thank you for your feedback. These quotes are all original and independent. They are published in my only name on Linkedin for example, in many thesys and many websites on Internet, you can check with Google. What has been the precise cause of this removal?
Stephane wrote: "What has been the precise cause of this removal?" It doesn't matter if the quotes are in other places. On Goodreads you have to be a notable person or author to have a quote. Here's the guideline:
Only enter quotes from notable people. Generally, a person is notable if they have been the subject of published secondary source material which is reliable, intellectually independent, and independent of the subject.

Hello, Could someone please add a book title to the quote below?
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/3782...
The book this quote was found in is: Game of Crowns: Elizabeth, Camilla, Kate, and the Throne by Christopher Andersen
Thank you!
Kristin wrote: "Hello, Could someone please add a book title to the quote below?"
If we know that a real person said the quote, we usually attribute the quote to that person rather than to the book about them. If they aren't the author, then the book will not show in the options.
Someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Correct.
Correct.
Hi, I found the following quote below this book: "Read Something Else" by Lemony Snicket. I assume he has used the same quote in two books now as this quote was already listed under another title. I wonder would it be possible to add both book titles to the quote?https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/4606...
Kristin wrote: "I wonder would it be possible to add both book titles to the quote?"
It is not. It should be listed under wherever it appeared first.

Hello, please change the word "One's" to Ona's" in the final sentence of this quote. https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/9951...
