If I participate in buddy reads for books I already started in April, will I get points for those buddyreads or not (buddy reads also started in April)?

No, you can count pages read in May for books started in April, but buddy reads for books started in April won't count.

Sarah some scores will need to be re-adjusted then, even though I finished COB in May the buddy read had started 26th April, others may have claimed for that one too?

Oh I think Sarah meant that if you started the book in April and finished in May, using the pages read in May for this challenge, then you couldn't claim buddy read points. If the book was read fully in May you can, as long as it's within 10 days of the scheduled busy read or something along those lines

There will be a few minor adjustments to medium/fun scores in the next count as I've counted a few buddy reads that crossed over by mistake. Shouldn't be much of a difference though as there wasn't that many. :)

You can still join buddy reads later than start date / last comment - The adjustment just applies to buddy reads that were posted along with books that were started in April and finished in May.

Yeah we have someone absent this month and we had another absent all of last month. It's quite disappointing when it happens :(

Well points will definitely be adjusted in this challenge as the teams aren't very even, so teams will be compensated for missing members. At the moment the top three teams are in order of strength which is interesting ☺

Sarah, if we start a book and then DNF it, can we still claim the pages we read this month? And, if so, do we need to do a review or something with it?

You can claim the pages read in May, but you will have to write a review or do status updates still.
