G.G. - Happy Belated Birthday!!!!! Sorry I missed it!! Huge Hugs!!!!!
Catch Up Hugs to ALL!!!!!

Belated birthday hugs to GG.
Big comforty hugs to CB.
I'm so sorry I've been absent.
I've been suffering with Labyrinthitis which has stopped me interacting with online stuff. Been off work.
My suffering really is nothing compared to others. And I'm finally getting betterafter 2 weeks.
(((CATCH UP HUGS)))

Tks Sue! I am way behind reading my own email.. let alone threads lol

Hugs to all still though (I'm not contagious)
xx

Monday sucks because it signals the end of the weekend, but Thursday sucks as much because it taunts you with the weekend. Like "Hey, you're not quite there yet!"

TL, I'm concerned about you. I hope you're getting better.

OK, so boo it's Monday but yay it's Halloween (Samhain to some).
So, spooky hugs and sweeties to you all.

Please get better. Here's a big, giant, huge hug:
**HHUUGGGGGG**

Alex, if writing is what you love, then writing is what you should be doing. You're going to have your up times and you're going to have your down times--it's called, Life! But don't ever have your DOUBT times:)
Hugs, everybody!

I've still been on enforced rest. I would never have thought I could feel so dizzy for so long. But I think I'm finally starting to get properly better.
Alex; those moments of doubt are why ghis group even exists.
I had a major wobble. We all do sometimes. It's OK. This group understands and offers hugs to help you through.
I took part in an awesome promotion for Indie Author Day. But my sales have slumped back down since. But we keep on going.
Writing is what we love. We do it because our soul finds omfort in it.
If someone finds and enjoys our work then it's a huge bonus but not really why we do it.
Big healing hugs to anyone who needs one.
Hopefully I'll be more active soon.
xx

My hubby made me roast chicken Sunday, with stuffing at that. True love! <3
So; $2.99 is apparently "the sweet spot" so hopefully that'll help.
Also, presuming you're doing it through Amazon KDP, you can run a Countdown deal once in a while.
Try to set an advanced release, so you have a week or two to try and drum up pre-orders, and post like mad on social media.
Then maybe in the new year, or Valentine's Day run a 99c sale?
Good luck.
I'm still signed off work. Snore!
But (((hump day hugs)))

I'm almost finished with one of my newest releases. It should be ready by the first of the year. As I'm reading through it, I'm making changes. So what does that mean? It needs a couple of more reads. I know how Alex feels. You have to keep working on those books until all the needed changes are done, and you wish it would be done, already.
Anyway, hugs to everyone!! Rest and get well, TL!

"Ya gotta keep on keepin' on! Right on!", "Life's a garden. Dig it. Make it work for you." - Joe Dirt ;)

It really makes me feel awful...

Better reviews will hopefully be coming soon.

Big hugs to you. It's not easy. I haven't checked your blurb, but could it be misleading in some way so it attracts the wrong crowd?

That's true, especially in romance novels. I must admit, I don't like that either but hopefully your readers will be able to look past that.

The only advice I can give you is to keep doing what you do. Being truthful to yourself is the only way forwards. And reviews are funny beasts, sometimes so-called bad ones generate more readers than five-star beauties

I think you should feel good about trying something new and pushing the envelope. The readers might not like the heroine but they don't seem to have a problem with your writing or the way you tell a story. Therefore, you can easily lure the ones that didn't like this story back with your next book.
