That particular Berkelouws also has a great second hand section out on the walk way. There are treasures to be had there:)

Well done Dale. That's a great win.
I got a lovely surprise in the mail today too, which I wasn't expecting. Received a copy of Playing with Fire

Elaine wrote: "I'm sure I will Brenda. Yes I do like the cover although I just realised it's the first of Sharon's books not to have a female on the cover but it is very effective."
I love the vibrancy of the red rose on the darkness of the cover:)

No chance of me videoing any happy dance Brenda.
Elaine wrote: "It's actually a male in armour holding the rose. Well I think that's what it is. Did you notice? It certainly is an attractive cover and would stand out on the shelf."
I think you're right Elaine! I saw the armour but didn't realise it was a person... didn't look properly!

Now try and figure out if I count it as one book, or sixteen!

and to round it up to $10 I picked up this interesting little book too:

All These Perfect Strangers for $4 and
The Mountains Have A Secret for $3 were the result.
Then, popped into the PO before getting home to unpack where there were three parcels of books:
The Bones of Grace and Wasted: A Story of Alcohol, Grief and a Death in Brisbane from Text
Fool Moon and Grave Peril and Summer Knight from a BookMoocher in the US
Britt-Marie Was Here and Where the Trees Were from Boomerang.
I love the cover of the Inga Simpson book but I wish it was the same size as her other books :(

for me: Vengeance in Death $2
for Veronica: Holiday in Death $2 and
Brotherhood in Death $4
once again, my title is safe for now....
I just received an email to let me know I've won The Fireman by Joe Hill from Goodreads First Reads giveaway :) My first for awhile!

Nice!

I spent $32 and all but one on my TBR. Which is not bad for me!
My fave Flesh Wounds
Running with Scissors
I Know This Much Is True
Push
A Man Called Ove
The Usual Rules
A Walk to Remember
and lots from Harlan Coben:
One False Move (double up, oops! Thought I'd scanned it on the app)
Shelter
The Woods
Darkest Fear
last but not least, for Indy I spy Dad!
I was just approved from NetGalley - Journey's End by Jennifer Scoullar, The Wife's Tale by Christine Wells and Front Page News by Katie Rowney
All Aussie authors :)

After I read Libriomancer (bought from Brotherhood Books) and Codex Born (borrowed from the library), I thought I wasn't going to get to read the rest without $$ outlay, but I emailed the acquisitions at the local library and offered them my copy of Libriomancer (they only had Codex Born) if they would order in the next two in the series. Heard nothing back. Oh well.
Today, checking out my reserves at the library, I notice that Unbound and Revisionary have been added to my list and are on order at the library: Yay!!
Might have to wait a while, but eventually.....
