I think so too Phrynne, it looks right up my alley...and I'm starting to enjoy my reading again woohoo, will be great when I get my eye fixed ;)
With September's monthly book $ allowance I donated all of it to the Red Cross for Hurricanes Harvey and Irma instead of buying any books. It's not much but it's the best I can do. =o)

Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things by Martina McAtee
I just bought this on Kindle I, Daniel Blake by Paul Laverty after watching the incredibly moving movie on fox. This story is so moving and so shameful to note in present day 2017 Britain, I was moved to buckets of tears watching this.
I hope by reading and sharing this story widely it will go some small way to highlighting this desperate need for reform.

Just returned from the Library and picked up two books that I had on order and which I am looking forward to reading. The Inaugural Meeting of the Fairvale Ladies Book Club by Sophie Green
The Choke by Sofie Laguna
Both by Australian authors. The Inaugural Meeting of the Fairvale Ladies Book Club is set in NT, and so can use it in the Round Australia challenge. Not sure where the Choke is set, though there is mention of the Murray River.
