This story is so moving and so shameful to note in present day 2017 Britain, I was moved to buckets of tears watching this.
I hope by reading and sharing this story widely it will go some small way to highlighting this desperate need for reform.

The Inaugural Meeting of the Fairvale Ladies Book Club by Sophie Green
The Choke by Sofie Laguna

Both by Australian authors. The Inaugural Meeting of the Fairvale Ladies Book Club is set in NT, and so can use it in the Round Australia challenge. Not sure where the Choke is set, though there is mention of the Murray River.
