yes, it's one of my favorites. I listened to the entire series. Though I wasn't pleased with the last book, Kai's POV. I thought it didn't make sense outside the book where the events occurred. I would have enjoyed it more if she made each book a dual POV book instead of leaving a Book 4 with 3 books worth of inner musings

I love this book and i was comp!etly enanromed it's one of those books that when you start reading it you can't put it down until the end because you want to know what will happen.
Kaidan Rowe is swoon-worthy every time he was in a scene of the book i was bouncing up and down with excitement.
Anna was am amazing femail protagonist. All the side
characters were all very well devoleped. The plot's pacing was perfect i was never boared while i was reading and it kept my intreast all the way through.

The Closer You Come (The Original Heartbreakers, #1) by Gena Showalter (The Original Heartbreakers #1)
Finished 1/23/16
Rating: ★★★★
This is the first contemporary romance I have read by Gena Showalter and I enjoyed it. Jase was so tortured by his past and Brook Lynn was good for him to help him get a fresh start. It was sweet to watch their relationship develop. I loved the side characters, especially Beck and West, and look forward to their stories in the rest of this series.

I have been captivated by this series from book 1. From the beginning of the first chapter the story is thrilling, gripping, it sets the mood for the strong suspense and tension that is present all through the story and it kept me on the edge of my seat.

Review:
This book was really good, just like the first one and I'm happy I found this new author. The only problem I had was heroine's thinking at the beginning when she had all the thoughts and actions of a groupie but kept thinking in her head she should watch the way she acts so she doesn't look like one. In her opinion she wasn't one but she totally was and it was beyond annoying hearing her thoughts. If it wasn't for this the book would be a 5 star read, so I'll be eagerly reading the next book soon.

I have seen this book recommended all over the place and I am glad I finally got around to reading it. The opening line draws you right in and the humor keeps it very entertaining. It's been over two years since I read Bully and loved it. I was never really interested in Madoc's story so this book was collecting dust on my TBR until now when I decided it's time to finally read it. I found the book annoying and it will probably be at least another year before I get into Jax's story.

This was a really cute coming-of-age story that had important themes of body image, friendship and self worth. Willowdean is a sassy and strong young lady and I was pulling for her throughout the book. I liked the supporting characters and will definitely read the companion novel about them when it is published. All of the Dolly Parton references and the girls' Dolly fandom was funny. An enjoyable book with a great message.

The book was mainly about death, self-groth and destiny. The writting was awesome a d i loved the descriptions of the angles and the environment and the tenderness of some relationships. In this sequel Claral's brother and mom are more preset. Love trangles are not my favorite bur this one seemed to work.

I prefer my romance series to be each book for a different couple but I saw there were more books of different couples later in the series and spin-off so I decided to try this one as not to loose the overall story. Sadly this book just proved to me that it's better I stick to stand alones from now on as it was so bad I barely got through it. They filmed a reality show in the book and it was read exactly like one - way too much drama and secrets. I'll continue with the series as the next book is about another couple but will stay away from all those .5 books that just continue the torture of one couple.

I loved it the story was full of action adventure, court intrigue, mystery, betrayals, lies, conspiracies, and a romance that was slow burning, you really feel the tension in the atmosphere as our herione tries to make a scene of what's Happening, as every where she turns, thetr are mysteries, secrets, and more deadends. The supence and discoveries are well-placed.

It's been almost a year since I read a book in this series but I liked that I could just pick back up with the characters. I really liked Lindsay in the earlier books and she was faced with battling her demons in this one. I loved how she found her way back to Matt and finally got her HEA. The ending was perfect. I did not like this book as much as the first book in the series. I was hoping this book would give a reason for Willem's disappearance but it was just a recap of all of his travels during the year. The ending was ok, but I wish there were more details of what happened after they reunited. I like Gayle Forman's writing style so I will continue to read her books.
