REQUIRED: When you post, indicate the total number of pages in your book, keeping in mind the rules for determining pages for ebooks and audiobooks, and be sure that you've linked to the right edition of your book.

Task 20.7 - Painting 101

option 3 - read a book whose author initials can be found in LINSEED
Up the Junction by Nell Dunn
ND found in linseed
(happily this also fits for option 2, as it was first published in 1963)

Task 25.13 - Art Can Set You Free
I chose to do option 4 twice
The Countess Conspiracy by Courtney Milan
in this book the main character is fighting against societal pressures against women being academics, and scientists in particular. Added to which, the branch of science she is pursuing - hereditary genetics - is particularly taboo in the period this is set.

The One by Kiera Cass
in this book there is a large plot point around the desire to overthrow or reform a repressive caste system, which both the main characters are (unbeknownest to the dim girl) attempting in separate ways. Eventually the girl gets her act together & starts to pull in the same direction as the dude - successfully.
