Marian, you can download from my library on Kindle but not on my Nook. Just keep getting soooo many good recommendations keep downloading!! Library doesn't always have things in and I'm very impatient!!!! :)

I got this little message from Apple yesterday, telling me it was time to do an update. So, following the ________________ rules, I did just as they suggested. Let it download and do its thing.
Now???? How is it performing, you ask???? You did ask, right??????? It is performing like ________. Like it is on some bad, wacky tabaccy.............says the good little California girl.
I am ready to throw my ipad thru the door!!!!! Then shoot it with my .38. I have done updates before and never had a problem.
Any suggestions????? And yes, I did contact dear Apple. They want $19 to do a check online. granted, the $19 won't kill me, but is it necessry?????

well we get sooo many great recommendations here and of course, its like Lays potato chips. You cant just do one! You have to get all that authors books (of course IN ORDER), and then some!

Ms. Janet......i am doing better. Now, if I read something out of order, I feel so guilty. I try to save them up, and do it the right way.
OK girls. My Ipad is about 5 yrs old. What should I have bought? My two 30 yr olds next door have IPads too. i'd ask Jon to help me.........but he's sick. I don't dare get close to him.
Oneclickitis! I love that!! :) (although my spell check didn't I had to write that about 4 times before it stopped correcting my spelling lolol! )
My partner he has an iPad gets on ok with it although he gets them through the work business so if anything goes wrong he can send it back.
I'm having a stupid dithering day were I can't decide what to read next... *sigh*

They seem to have a limited shelf life don't they? Mine used to go blank when I was in the middle of something especially if I was on a big website such as Twitter. It was really annoying. My husband bought me a new one for my birthday. He stripped the old one down and we gave it to my son. Even though the memory was only about 50% used my hubby said it might have affected its performance. I keep meaning to ask my son if it is performing any better know we've removed the games etc.

Since getting Netflix,I have also been watching stuff..I wanted to get started on House of Cards..wow!Is that Tv series good and I really like Kevin Spacey.Been watching a lot of stuff actually and have been ignoring my reading.I have hurt my shoulder,so its hard right now to do much.

Marian........owie.........shoulder pain can certainly change how your days go, I know that.My son was complaining about his shoulders.......and then he told me how he slept at night. He lays on his back and puts his arms above his head, like a ballerina. He says, I think this pose is what's hurting me.
So, I told him, "Dave.......sleep in a different position. Put your arms down or sleep on your side."
He followed my advice and his shoulders are feeling great again. LOL.

I was a big fan of the British version with the late Ian Richardson, but they were really smart with the Kevin Spacey version. They even got the original author for help and he was one of the exec producers. Plus, Spacey is just SO GOOD!
Haven't been able to watch the second season, though.

Ty,LOL!!! Yes, he is single, sleeping in a king sized bed. He was sleeping with his arms completely above his head.
