Tawallah For September:
Uglies (Uglies, #1) by Scott Westerfeld liked this a lot, slow in some places.
Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas - predictable but good intro for the series.
The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner, #2) by James Dashner
The Winner's Curse (The Winner's Trilogy, #1) by Marie Rutkoski
Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor - I wanted to love this after hearing all the recommendations. But not a fan of the view of seraphim. Otherwise I love the way Laini Taylor writing. And one of the few books that has e researching more about the background.

message 369: by Courtney Lee (new)

Courtney Lee (courtneyleemitchell) | 8 comments I always have a list of books in my head that I plan on reading next. I even stack my books in the order I plan on reading them in. But it never goes according to plan. I always end up just reading what I feel like or I dont end up finishing it which just messes up the next lot of books I want to read.

Here's my top 2 as of right now. I havent really thought about my tbr books yet.
1. Legacy of Kings (currently reading
2. Queen of Shadows

message 400: by Lauren (new)

Lauren B (saussage1994) | 19 comments I don't even know where to start. I have so many books that I really, really, want to read, but I always go by gut each time I finish one and it's time to pick the next.

All I know is that my sister has got me All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr for my birthday (next week) and my mum has got me The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness The Ask and the Answer (Chaos Walking, #2) by Patrick Ness and Monsters of Men (Chaos Walking, #3) by Patrick Ness . I know my fiancé got me something too, but he's keeping it a secret. I heavily hinted at This One Summer by Mariko Tamaki so maybe that or Saga, Volume 4 by Brian K. Vaughan or Saga, Volume 5 by Brian K. Vaughan .

I'm sure I'll be reading at least one of those after my current book (or the one after, depending on what I can squeeze in before my birthday). If I do get chance for another quick read though I'll probably go for Lola and the Boy Next Door (Anna and the French Kiss #2) by Stephanie Perkins .

Basically, I've got too many choices and I suck at planning in advance.
