I've read 4 out of my 5!

Right now reading Stolen Songbird (The Malediction Trilogy, #1) by Danielle L. Jensen After that:

I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You (Gallagher Girls, #1) by Ally Carter City Love by Susane Colasanti The Girl at Midnight (The Girl at Midnight, #1) by Melissa Grey Sweet by Emmy Laybourne Rook by Sharon Cameron

message 319: by Lauren (new)

Lauren B (saussage1994) | 19 comments I never know what I'm going to read until I finish my current read! I'm so indecisive. I base what to read on my gut every single time, so I'm trying to build up an extensive TBR pile so I've got all different genre's to pick from.

Though, as it stands, my gut is saying these 5 I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson , Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson , An Ember in the Ashes (An Ember in the Ashes, #1) by Sabaa Tahir , Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz .

Incredibly likely to change though!

message 330: by Aria (new)

Aria von Dimple (ariavondimple) | 3 comments My top 5 would be something like
* Ink and Bone (The Great Library, #1) by Rachel Caine - would like to see what all the fuss is about
* Lonely Werewolf Girl (Kalix MacRinnalch, #1) by Martin Millar - supposedly a favourite of Mr Gaiman
* Fortune's Pawn (Paradox, #1) by Rachel Bach - Felicia said it was awesome and I want to believe her
* The Pearl that Broke Its Shell by Nadia Hashimi - it sound so intriguing and I'm really into Middle East right now (plus if it's anything like Khaled Hosseini, I'm sold)
* and last but not least Uprooted by Naomi Novik - I don't remember how I found about this book but I'm itching to read it

I can't stress enough how amazing I find it that, in my opinion, Knife of Never Letting Go was easily the worst of the three Chaos Walking books. I found the next two easily better... Yet KoNLG was still a 5 star for me. That trilogy is just gold.

message 341: by Harlee (new)

Harlee | 1583 comments @Tommy That's sort of what Daniel said! I really can't even describe why I loved it so much but it just hooked me and I didn't want to put it down! If the next two just get even better I am even more excited to read them.

Yeah, it's a really odd story. I couldn't describe it to someone in a way that would really illustrate how good it was. I just have to say "Trust me, read it."

You're gonna love the rest of it.

3. Re-read HP and The Chamber of Secrets for my read-a-long.
4. Re-read of The Darkest Minds as I want to refresh before reading Books 2 & hopefully 3!
5. Finish Heir of Fire.
