Where do you think the unknown location will be in CoHF?
I agree with clary. The demon realm.

Pandemonium was mentioned in TID, and it'd be an epic battle between good and evil if it were there.
It would be a pretty kick-butt battl

Actually, thinking about it now, it has to be there. Cassie said the backdrop on the cover is a major clue as to where the place in question is. She also said something like "It is a battle between light and dark" or something like that.
There is Jace's heavenly fire on the cover, right? The backdrop is shrouded in darkness. Light and dark.
Yeah, and think of how many times it's been mentioned in the series. It just makes sense.

Pandemonium is supposed to be the demon city within the void. You could be in the demon realm and not be in Pandemonium technically. I do think it will take place in the Void. Maybe Pandemonium maybe not.

Yes they are the same. I did initially think Lucifer but thought that was too obvious.

But wasn't it said that if people entered the void, it was kind of like a one way system?
So how would they get back?

Maybe Magnus's dad has something to do with getting them there and back? :)
ME too. I'm also part of that 1%. Sebastian is in my top 3 of all the books so far

He isn't one of the characters I like, never has been, but that's my look on it. Just like maybe some of my favourite characters may not be yours. :)
No judgement here :)

But when I read City of Lost Souls, I learned so much more about him, about his father beating him, and how happy he seemed when he fought beside Clary and Jace in that shop, and how many times he'd saved his little sister's life - and I literally fell in love with him.
Even when he tried to rape Clary, I thought it was … sexy. That didn't make it right, though. But by the end of the book even Clary was feeling a twinge of sympathy for him

But with Sebastian, even from City of Glass when he walked Clary back to Amatis's, I thought he was shifty and it grew from there. :(
What makes it worse and even more confusing for myself and probably all of you is that: I actually liked Valentine, despite his crazy antics to make everyone believe they're incest, drain everybody and then kill Jace. (The latter I was pretty pissed about mind.)

Yeah, yeah … She's a vampire, she has nothing to lose …
But she does. She fears losing her status and power.
Raphael is her constant worry, because he is the only one who threatens that, who can take that away from her.
Still, Camille is a hard one to pinpoint if she is strictly good or strictly bad …
Maybe she's a balance between both

Nothing lives forever, which is shitting me up for CoHF, because Magnus might die :( With him living for so long :/

I think, if my theory is right and Camille is still alive, she might play a major role in CoHF.
As for Magnus, I do think he'll die. Not because he's over 700 years old, because age doesn't make it okay for anyone to die and say "Oh, he's been around a long time. It was time for him to go." I mean he might die saving Alec

I don't want Magnus to die, he's one of my very favourites! :)
I think Alec is going to die, I've said it since the end of CoLS. I don't want him too, but I imagine it coming :(
I want to see what Maureen has to do with CoHF, that'll be interesting.

It would cause a massive tumult between Alec, Magnus and Camille, if she were still alive. I think Alec is jealous of what once was between Magnus and Camille.
Also, I think Maureen is working for Sebastian

As for Magnus & Camille, Magnus left Camille by smashing lips with Will then just leaving. If only Alec would believe that though, but then he'd probably think that Magnus would prefer Jace. Since what happened with Will?

When you think about it, it all could have been planned.
Maureen was the band's only fan, a fan who just happened to get injured and Turned into a vampire by Simon, who later claims she slaughtered Camille, leader of the New York vampire clan.
There's something going on there …

Maybe the younger they get turned, the more rampagey they go on? :')
If Camille is still around and kicking, say shes left Maureen "In charge" in a fashion- Well Maureen wouldn't be none the wiser. She'd be like the pawn in a game of chess?
Imagine if it came down to a head to head match with Maureen and Simon? :O

If Camille has really fled, I don't think it will take long for Raphael to find her again. Hell! He found Magnus's father in the past. (As Cassie's snippets have revealed.)
If he can find him, he won't have trouble finding Camille.

If the entire thing with Maureen was planned beforehand (of course, Simon would have no part in it, because he is loyal to the Shadowhunters) then she would have had no lovey-dovey feelings toward him, because they'd have been false

I think he'd be stuck between a rock and a hard place really.
She will have a bigger part in this, the same with Rebecca- Simon's sister. I don't think Cassie would introduce those characters and just give them a cameo appearance.
With Jem/Brother Zachariah, I can understand a cameo appearance, like with Tessa- because they were full on characters in TID and were just crossed over.
But with Maureen and Rebecca, I think something deeper is lurking.
I'd like to see some accend, like Sophie did. :)

The chapter entitled 'Simon's Sacrifice', could mean that Sebastian is holding Simon's sister captive and he has to 'sacrifice' something in order to save her …

She knows kind of about him, despite the memory thing Simon did.
But what could he sacrifice
, he doesn't have the mark of Cain anymore, so he's pretty much screwed :(

He'll! We've had church forever and Chairman Meow! :)

I don't think Simons cat will die or anything, but just thinking outside the box- imagine if his cat was a shapeshifter or something?

But whe..."
Oh, don't get me wrong, I've always thought Sebastian was freaking gorgeous, especially in CoG.

Maybe Magnus's dad has something to do with getting them ..."
I don't necessarily think it will be in a helpful way. Maybe something along the lines of him crossing over and them somehow taking advantage of that ability.

Me too. He was the TMI version of a racist, like Voldamort in the Harry Potter books. all that pure blood crap.

Honestly, I look forward to seeing the glimpse if him as a normal shadowhunter in CoHF, but how will Clary react?
The only sibling she has, who has tried getting jiggy with her, tried killing her boyfriend and is overall trying to take over shadowhunters as a whole.
I think it will pull a few strings and break her heart to see him how he should be.
Heaven forbid it doesn't happen, we've already seen him die once, but what if that snippet of "I killed your boyfriend" is Jace.
I cannot see that going down well with half the characters, as well as half the fans?

'I just killed your boyfriend. Thought you should know'
…it was fan made. Fortunately.
And Jace doesn't die, nor does Clary

Now it's more worrying who these six people are who die! :(

Maia, Jace, Clary, Julian and Emma don't die, because they're in TDA.
That leaves Simon, Alec, Magnus, Luke, Jocelyn, Jordan, Maureen, Kaelie, the Seelie Queen, Meliorn, Mayrse, Robert, Raphael, Camille (if she's still alive), and Sebastian.
Take you're pick :)
The void- but then again it was said that it was kind of a one way system.
But it could also be one of the places on the map Gabriel Lightwood was looking at in Mr Sallows shop in Clockwork Princess?;
The Thorn Mountains
The Silver Sea
Or the mysterious country with the purple sky.
:)
